Xans face erupted into a grin as she thought of Bills words from their conversation in the garden, "It's El," promptly lifting himself from where he'd been sat and purposefully walking back into the burrow, Xan watching through the window as he sat back down at the table, resting a hand over Mollys and giving her a reassuring smile as if to say 'I'm gonna do the right thing, mum.' and Molly reciprocating.

Xan remained outside, leaving her soup to go cold as she observed the family inside interacting. Arthur and Ron had taken up a conversation, Hermione laughing along with Rons arm tucked into her own. Ginny, Harry and the twins were throwing their arms around animatedly with huge grins on their faces, Molly and Bill were quietly talking between the two of them and Charlie had moved to take Xanthies seat so he could continue talking to El. Xan let out a sigh and sat on the bucket that Bill had left upturned, resting her chin on her hand. A soft drizzle had started to fall, the clouds only darkening with every passing second, rolling furiously through the sky.

Xan titled her head back, letting the rain fall against her skin, closing her eyes and letting her lips part and setting her mind to run free, thoughts of her family passing behind her eyelids, followed by her years at Hogwarts, the relationships she'd had and how none of them had fulfilled her, nor lasted longer than a few months. The rain got torrential as if matching the thoughts in Xans head, darker, heavier.

"You should come inside, Xan. It's only getting worse out here." Ginny poked her head out of the window, Xan jumped and looked at her with a small smile.

"I'm just gonna go for a little walk okay? I won't be long." Xan said, standing from where she'd been sat and turned to walk away from the burrow, hands in her pockets as she went. The walk didn't last long before she strolled past Sirius' motorcycle that she'd left parked by the lake from earlier, watching the rain drops land on the sleek black metal. She hoisted herself up onto it, laying back against the large seat, something she used to do during summers at Grimmauld. She'd lay on the warm leather, in the sun, trying to tan her skin with Sirius perched next to her on the grass.

She laid there, relaxing now in the silence. Away from the ruckus of the burrow, although she was growing fond of the chaos, a break was nice every once in a while. The rain made small patters as it landed on the metal and leather, Xanthies skin reacting each time an extra cold drip landed on her. A crack of thunder shot through the clouds, the light flashing bright even through Xanthies closed eyes, the sound not frightening her but affecting her quite the opposite. The sound of footsteps was the next noise that Xan heard, turning her head in their direction as she opened her eyes, seeing Fred approach her with his arm over his head as if that was going to protect him from the pelting rain.

"What are you doing?! C'mon!" Fred yelled over the cracks of thunder and rain, his eyes squinting as they glared at Xanthie who didn't move. Xan rolled her eyes and turned her head the other way, facing the lake.

"Why do they always send you after me?" Xan muttered, more to herself but didn't expect Fred to be able to hear her, now standing right next to her. Xan felt his cold fingers gently take her jaw and turn her face to face his direction again, a smirk on his features.

"Because my little sister just loves putting me in shitty situations. This was her doing." Fred answered, his thumb resting on Xans chin. Xan sat up, Freds hand not moving from its place on her jaw, Xanthie swung her legs down but they didn't stand a chance of hitting the ground beneath her from the height of the bike. Freds hair was sodden wet, falling over his eyes as he winced slightly at the rain pounding against his skin, his t-shirt sticking to his body so Xanthie could see each line and curve of his frame.
