"Yes... No signs of him till now. "

Shehnaaz heard faint voices, as if somebody is whispering in front of her. Thet voice didn't felt familiar, but it scared her. It was scary.

"No she's still out. But the effect of the drug might wear off any moment now. Its been 12 hours roughly."

She open her groggy eyes, her head ached severely, almost as if somebody was hammering a nail in her skull. The pain in her body was immense; numbing, almost. To the point that she couldn't locate what part of her body hurt and what didn't. She winced, a whimper left her mouth, garnering the attention of the man who was busy conversing on phone a few moments ago.

He turned around, taking off the shades, he crawled down to her.

"Ohh look who's up!"

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"Easy, love. You'll know soon. As about me, the less you know, the better."

Her head was heavy, she felt extreme pain kicking in, and she felt so exhausted. Her stomach growled with hunger, and there was a dull pain in her abdomen as well.

She tried looking at the man who sat in front of her, the light coming in from the window near his back made it impossible for her to clearly locate his features.

It took her a while to process things that happened. She saw it all replaying in front of her eyes - Sahil barging in her house, the way she struggled to run away, the fork she stabbed him with, the broken vase, everything replayed in front of her goddamn eyes. She was abducted. For what? She didn't know. Or maybe she did, but was afraid of admitting.

"You gotta eat." she heard a deep heavy voice, breaking her trance. She looked up, trying to focus on the person, who sounded slightly different than the one who was here moments ago.

He was gone. The man who was there earlier, he was gone. And instead, she saw Sahil. With a plate of food, her mind couldn't register other things at the moment.

"What do you want?" she asked, she was so filled with hatred.

"Eat up lil girl. You've got a long stay here, it seems!" he said, bringing his hands to her face, caressing her cheek. There it was again. The dirty, disgusting, unwanted touch.

"WHAT. DO. YOU. WANT." she screamed at him, fighting her tears that threatened to fall any moment. But she couldn't break. Not now. Not here. Not in front of this hateful creature that stood chuckling evil-ly at her.

"You. I want you." he said, gripping her cheeks harshly.

She jerked his hand away from her face. Her eyes filled with hate, more than he had ever seen in anybody's lately. Not that it bothered him. His vengeance, and the ruthlessness it filled him with was so extreme, he didn't give a damn if what he was doing could taint somebody's life. He was blinded by his vengeance, so blinded that he didn't bother if it was his once-a-good-friend who he was trying to get back to. Hate is a very intense, powerful, dark feeling indeed. The things it did to people are no secrets hidden from the world. Fury, wrath, revenge, hate - a mixture of all was what transforms a man into a monster. Like Sahil. He did fall prey to the mind-numbing hate and envy he felt towards Sidharth.

He kicked her in the abdomen, making her yelp in pain, and left. She cried loudly, screaming his name, hoping he'd hear her cries, and come there looking for her.

"Sidharth" she sobbed, her body was shaking terribly, she was in unbearable pain.

"The number you're trying to reach is unavailabile at the moment. Please try again later"

"Obviously." he let out a bitter laugh,as he dialled through every contact number of Sahil he could find. Even the one that he used to text him.
