Dan felt as though he had been falling for hours, he could still feel Katie's hand in his and was too frightened to let go. The inside of the portal was much like the outside, but instead of pictures floating through it, an opening appeared every now and then, showing the images with more detail.

Katie was just above him, but unlike him, she wasn't paying attention to how much time had passed, she was focusing on trying to get out. "We have to try to get to the nearest doorway thingy!" Katie yelled it was noisy in there.

    "What?!"

"I said, we have to get to the nearest doorway!"

    "Why!?"

"So that we can at least try to get out! Some of these don't look very nice, like the one with thunder and rain! Let's try to aim for the one coming around the corner!"

They came to a quick turn, Katie began trying to swim towards the doorway. They hadn't seen what was inside the door, but they had to get out. When Dan realized what she was doing he began helping. Soon they found themselves sprawled out in the grass of a sparkling forest, with sunlight beaming down on their faces.

Dan sat up breathing hard. "W-we made it!"

"Yeah, let's not do that again." Katie gasped.

"Once we find out what we did in the first place." Dan said as the two sat up.

    "Yeah, what on earth happened?"

"You ask it like I know."

"You're the one who made it happen." Dan accused. "You and your need to stop and pick it the concrete."

"Oh yeah, go ahead and blame me." Katie was about to continue scolding her brother, but instead found herself gasping.

    "What?"

    "Look around us."

"Uh... where are we?" Dan asked in bewilderment. They both stood up and surveyed their surroundings. The forest was covered in the tallest, thickest, pine trees they had ever seen. Sparkles were floating through the air as though someone had exploded a glitter bomb.

"I-I don't know, I've never even heard of a place like this." The awestricken expression in Dan's eyes quickly faded as she said this.

"Wait! If we don't know where we are, how will we get home!?"

    "I don't know, we'll find a way."

"No! You mean, you will find a way! You're the one who got us into this mess in the first place!"

"Oh come on Dan, we are lost in some forest, don't turn on me now. The best thing we can do is work together." Katie replied firmly.

"Your friend is right." A soft tiny voice said from behind them. "It is always better to work together!"

They both turned around in circles, looking for the speaker. "Who are you?" Katie asked.

"Better question," Dan said one-upping her. "where are you?"

The voice giggled. "You keep looking straight past me." They followed the voice, scanning the forest slowly.

"Oh! My! Gosh! Dan, I found her!"

    "Where?"

"Over here." Katie peeped. Dan rushed to her side, and his mouth dropped.

Hovering just a few feet away from them was a tiny woman, no taller than eight inches. She had glistening silver hair and wore a purple dress, with silver vines wrapped around the waist, and on her wrists like jewelry. "I'm Morning Glory, who are you?"
