Aeventi Oneshots

Cold..

Aether was exploring Dragonspine completely alone. He didn't expect any of his friends to be there due to its dangerous nature, he knew of Albedo travelling there but he had returned to Mondstadt a while ago.

Aethers POV

Same old Dragonspine, dangerous climates, hilichurls, Fatui, it's almost like Mondstadt but snowy. I had no real goal there, I had no commissions from the Adventures Guild to complete, my only real goal was finding treasure. I was around halfway up to the Skyfrost Nail. I took a rest next to a campfire and lit the flame, not with Pyro but using a Warming Bootle.

3rd person POV

As Aether resting himself by the fire, he noticed a green figure laying unconscious in the snow. He knew exactly who that was, the Tone-Deaf Bard and Anemo Archon himself, Venti. He rushed over to pick him up, feeling just how cold his body was. Aether took Venti to the fire, trying to make sure he kept warm.

"He's wearing nothing to keep himself safe from this weather.. Venti you know you don't have your gnosis anymore." Aether thought, holding the bard close to him. He could feel Venti shaking, so he grabbed his hand and teleported the two to Mondstadt.

Time skip

Venti was now asleep in Aethers room in the Knights of Favonius HQ, and Aether had already given him everything he could give just to keep him warm. He took the time to admire Venti, his hair, basically everything about him. Even though he wouldn't admit it, he had a crush on the bard.

"Paimons- Here.." Aethers travel companion, or emergency food, flew into the room. "Hey, what's tone-deaf-"

"Be quiet, he's asleep."

Paimon was cut off by Aethers pretty sudden stern voice. She looked very surprised by this, but she didn't question it at all. She instead left the room, probably to go steal someone's mora.

It was a few long hours until Venti woke up, although he was still very weak due to the snow.

"Mhm.. Traveler?" Venti groaned, still tired. He wanted to sit up, but he just couldn't find the strength to do so.

"Venti, you're awake!" Aether said, very happy about it. He went over to him, smiling at him. The two spent some time chatting, mainly about the Dragonspine situation and other random stuff.

Aethers POV

Well, Venti's doing a lot better now. He was smiling, but he still couldn't sit up. I smiled at him, I found his smile absolutely adorable. He pulled me onto the bed, just hugging me. I was definitely surprised, but I won't complain. It felt nice being close to him, and before I knew it, I fell asleep in his arms.

Venti's POV

I finally got the traveler into my arms. It took a lot more strength out of me than I thought, but it felt great to finally hug him.

3rd person

The two spent some time hugging despite Aether being asleep. Venti whispered something into Aethers ear he had wanted yo say for a long time now.

"I love you."
