Chapter 2

yn's pov. 

"well i called it. there are no ghost's." i said as naru finished explaining the whole situation. "i'm out of here. this was a waste of my time." i said glaring at kuroda. i made my way out. 

"wait." naru said and i just kept walking. 

time skip. 

i walked into a nice looking house next to mai and naru. i smiled at them but i began to feel sick. i covered my mouth and leaned forward. "you okay." mai asked. i grabbed her shoulder and shook my head. 

"their all crying. the children who died in the house. they all want their mothers." i said. naru walked over to me and grabbed my arm. he placed my hand on his shoulder. 

"let me feel." he said and i just looked at him. 

"that's not how it works. we're not connected anymore like before." i said. 

"you can make someone feel what you see." mai asked. i nodded. 

"it's very advanced. i need to be connected emotionally with that person before i can do it." i said. 

"i see. since naru is no longer your boyfriend. you lost that emotional connection." mai said making sense of it. soon everything went black. 

when i woke up the pressure in my head was heavy. "how long was i out." i asked. naru came over.

"your fever has gone down. that's good." he said and i just looked at him. 

"how long."

"it's only been a day. you didn't miss much." he said placing a fresh cloth on my forehead. why is he being like this. like he said. he broke up with me. 

"why are you being so gentle and nice now." mai said. naru just ignored her. "fine be that way." she said pouting. 

"ugh. my head is pounding." i said sitting up. 

"just rest." he said softly. i sighed and laid back down. i heard a cry from the hall. they didn't seen to hear it themselves. i got up and ran to the door and looked down the hallway. both ways. i saw a kid running crying. like he was scared. 

"wait." i shouted as i ran after him. "i can help you. it's okay." i said. 

"yn. what's going on." naru ran after me. we came up to the door under the stairs. the little girl hiding in it. "yn?" naru said. 

"shh. it's okay little girl."

"you can see minnie's friend." a little girl said. 

"ayami." a woman who greeted us said. 

"now is this minnie." i said and she smiled and nodded. "she's very pretty." i said seeing the little brown haired girl instead of seeing a blonde doll. i smiled and shook the dolls hand. looking right into the dolls eyes. ayami giggled and ran off happy. i turned my attention back to under the stairs. "you can come out. i won't hurt you. i promise." i said. everyone just watched the to door burst opened and i was pushed. i fall to the ground but naru caught me before i fell on my butt. but i felt an energy and naru gasp and fell with me. i gasped as i landed on naru. "sorry."

"what was that." mai said. 

"i thought you couldn't connect with me." naru said. i got off him and helped him up. 

"normally i can't unless you return the same feeling as me." i said and he looked at me. 

"maybe we are connected then." he said more to himself.

"huh." i said. he shook his head and walked away. "okay then?" i said confused. we all walked back to the base and watched the video footage from the stairs.
