Once word got out about Puff getting killed, everyone started rumors on who it was. No one believed Ash did it. Not only because he was so young, but also cause he lied and said he was a bystander. When questioned on who really killed Puff he either said he didn't know or didn't remember.
Why do I bring this up you may ask? Well, today is Puff's funeral. Everyone there was so confused. Especially everyone else from pokemon. They had no idea what was happening. Terrance and Phillip were the first ones to speak about Puff. Terrance couldn't even talk at first, with how much he was crying. "H-he was so- s-s-so" was his first sentence he spoke, not even being able to finish it. Ash was the only one there not crying. Even the people who had no idea what was happening were crying. Everyone there was talking about how much they missed Puff. This angered Ash. "WILL EVERYONE PLEASE STAY QUIET FOR JUST A SECOND!!!" (we really don't stan ooc ash) Everyone stared at him.
"I get it, so so sad. But just wanted to mention that all of you are stupid for coming here!" Ash said while tying up specifically Phillip. "I don't care what you all say! Puff DESERVED TO DIE!"
"Oh, and everyone is an idiot for coming here. All of you are mine!" Ash said throwing pokeballs at everyone, but forgetting Phillip.
Ash left and Phillip tried his best to get out of where he was. He struggled, but with enough struggling, he managed to break free. He ran after Ash. He finally caught up to, not Ash, but a smaller looking boy. The boy slowly turned around. "Puff, are you there? It's me"
