Daddy was home and in the mood to talk when I got home from school. I stayed late in the library and walked home just so I didn't have to see or talk to Gisella. Unfortunately, she was sitting in the kitchen when I came through the front door.
"Hey princess, how was school?" Daddy greeted me with a smile. I slipped past him, grabbed a grape juice from the refrigerator and headed upstairs without letting my eyes travel towards Gisella.
"Fine." I said.
Once I was in my room, I closed and locked the door and then tossed my book bag onto the bed. Knowing I was under the same roof as the girl who was driving me completely insane had my stomach full of butterflies. I missed her so much. But I didn't want to speak to her.
So I took a hot shower and mentally practiced how I was going to break up with Gisella for over half an hour. By the time my shower was over, I wanted to cry. How could I break up with her? I couldn't. I didn't want to. But I didn't want to get hurt either.
"Fuck!" I gasped as the towel draped around my body fell to the floor. "You scared me, Gisella."
"You're breaking my heart, mon amour." Hearing Gisella's voice after avoiding it all day had my dripping wet knees so weak. My heart skipped a beat as her eyes lingered over my naked body. Quickly, I reached for the towel and wrapped it around my body.
"I locked my door." I said.
"Oui, I know. I unlocked it." She smirked and stood up. "Stacy, why are you ignoring me?" Gisella closed the distance between the two of us and wrapped her arms around my waist. I held my breath because butterflies were threatening to come out of my mouth.
"I think we should just be friends."
Gisella stared at me for two seconds before a pout crossed her face.  I forced my eyes away from her plump lips and opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
"I don't want to be your friend, mon amour..." she said sadly. I swallowed the lump in my throat and stepped away from her.
"I...I...you're just..." I stammered, unsure of what I was going to say next. When Gisella put her head down and sat on my bed, a piece of my heart shattered. She wasn't smiling anymore and her confidence wasn't lighting up the room and it was my fault.
"What did I do?" Her voice cracked and sent another piece of my heart flying across the room. I tightened my grip around my towel and sat next to her.
"I'm too jealous, Gisella. I can't handle it. And Ben was right, you're a lady magnet and I can't compete with all the girls that throw themselves at you every single day..." my honesty brought Gisella's eyes onto me and I swear I fell for her all over again. Why was this so hard?
"Benny said that to you?" The hurt in her voice made my skin crawl. I nodded.
"First of all, Stacy, you do not have to compete with anyone. I am yours." She glanced at my lips before continuing. "Baby I don't want anybody but you. I promise I don't."
"I saw you getting that girls number at school..." I confessed and stood quickly. With my back to her while I searched my dresser for something to wear, she couldn't see how red my face was or the tears in my eyes.
Gisella's arms turned me around slowly until our faces were inches apart. My tongue flicked over my bottom lip nervously as I backed into the dresser to put some space in between us.
"I didn't get her number, Stacy. She asked for mine and I told her I have a girlfriend. Because I do. You are not breaking up with me." Gisella kissed me softly before I had time to respond.
I let myself melt into her lips for a number of reasons but the main one was because I missed her. I forgot about everything else that wasn't her lips. Gisella's tongue slid in my mouth slowly as her hands invaded the privacy of my towel but I didn't stop her. My body was on fire. She deepened the kiss and twirled my nipples in her fingers, making me break away and bite my lip.
"Gisella..." I didn't know what she was doing to me but I was in way over my head.
"Je ne vais pas te faire de mel, mon amour." Gisella whispered tenderly and then connected our lips again. When she pulled away, her eyes sparkled and made my stomach flutter.
"I'm not going to hurt you, my love." She repeated. When she looked at me like I was a pot of gold, everything inside of me believed every word that came out of her mouth. I knew I couldn't break up with her.
"You promise?" I whispered. Her smile gave my heart permission to soar through the roof and then she pecked my lips.
"Je te promets."
