All my issues: Draco and Mattheo x Reader

Chapter one.

Today was my first day of 5th year at Hogwarts. Usually, I would be scared but after what happened last year with Cedric Diggory dying, what else could possibly happen that would be worse this year.  

I was ready to go but before I left there was some part of me that was telling me to go check on my mom to see if she was ok. I decided not to because my mom and I don't have the best relationship. We rarely talk to each other anymore, I think it's because of my dad.

I finally arrived at platform 9 3/4. I could kids everywhere running around and parents yelling at them to slow down. I almost started crying while watching parents giving their kids hugs goodbye because my mom stoped showing up to take me to the train station in 2nd year after my dad stopped coming around. 

I was sitting by myself, as usual when I heard someone knock on the door. I looked up and locked eyes with my best friend Declan Thompson. We have been best friends since first year. He has supported me through everything. He's the only friend I have at Hogwarts. He's the only person that will talk to me, everyone else stoped talking to me in third year after they all found out my dad was working for the Dark Lord.

"Omg I have so much to tell you." he said. I was so relived to finally see him after a whole summer of just being alone. It was nice to have someone to talk to about everything. He told me about his crazy uncle showing up and staying at his house for the summer and that he had to give up his room. I tried so hard not to laugh but it was funny how mad he was getting. 

We finally arrived at Hogwarts and on my way out of the train I was pushed to the ground by someone. When I look up I see Pansy Parkinson standing over me laughing. "Watch where you're going Deatheater." she said. Then walked away. I was fighting to hold back tears. I hate crying in front of people. My dad always told me that I look weak when I cried so I always try to be strong and not show people my emotions. To be honest i'm a really emotional person but only Declan knows that.

We get inside and sit down and wait for all the first years to get sorted. Then Dumbledore says his  speech and we all started to eat. After dinner we all headed back to our common rooms. While we were eating, I heard from Declan that there was a Ravenclaw party tonight and he told me I had to go with him. So, when I got back to my dorm I started planning out what I was going to wear. After a while I finally picked out (you choose the clothes), some mascara, red lipgloss, and a pair of black heels.

When I stepped out of my dorm, I started walking down the steps to the common room suddenly I locked eyes with a tall boy with platinum blond hair. I instantly froze knowing exactly who it was. It was Draco Malfoy. Him and I used to be best friends but then he started hanging out with different people and stoped talking to me, just like everyone else in 3rd year.

Draco Malfoy's Pov: 

I haven't seen her in a dress since the yule ball in 4th year and even then I barely even saw her. She left early because her date ditched her but i'm not gonna lie she looks great in that dress. ( A/N: this is so typical but you had a glow up over the summer lmao) Well, tonight's going to be fun.

Y/n's Pov: 

He's smirking. Why is he smirking? Maybe it was a bad idea to wear this dress. Do I look bad or something? You know what? I'm just going to walk past him and ignore it. Let's hope tonight goes well.

When I got to the Ravenclaw common room door I paused and took a deep breath, bracing myself for what was going to be on the other side of the door. I said the password and walked in. As I walked through the door, I noticed there were a lot of people staring at me. I walked around looking for Declan. Just then I felt someone grab my wrist and say "Hello Y/n I'm surprised to see you here and around people."
