I'm sorry

Chapter 1

  Ok guys this is my first time so don't judge ok?  Anyways these characters aren't mine.  But the plot is so don't take it. I will know 😑anyways enjoy!
     
      After Nova had outed herself as Nightmare, things weren't quite the same.  She would get dirty looks from people she saved, hardly anyone trusted her, and Genessia Clark still was determined to make Nova's life miserable.  She still hadn't forgiven her for taking her abilities, even though the supernova restored them later.  She hated her guts.  And the fact that the council seemed to forgive her so easily made Frostbite livid.  She wasn't a Renegade anymore after she quit from her powers being drained.  Her and her teammates had left the Renegades HQ and started their own villain gang.  Determined to take down Nova and make her pay for all the things she did to them.  They had plotted against her from the moment they received their powers again.  Gargoyle especially hated her, after she had beaten him at the trials and used Agent N bombs against him. 

                                   (Novas POV)
         Nova was beginning to get used to the hateful looks she was given on a daily basis, especially since she decided to keep her Anarchist alias (Nightmare).  She hadn't thought much of it especially since Adrian made her feel like she deserved the world.  Damn she loved him.  Nova was in the artifacts apartment when her communicator band went off. 
        She read the text which was from Adrain saying to the rest of their team, "Robbery in progress we need to get down to the Gatlon City Bank immediately.  Meet me there ASAP!  Don't forget to bring your weapons we don't know how many their are.  Be prepared!"
        Nova rushed out of the room and ran down to the lower floor and met up with Ruby and Oscar.  They all ran their together seeing Danna and Adrain waiting for them. 
      "Ready?" Adrian asked.
      "I was born ready." Oscar replied punching his fists together.
        They infiltrated the building going in separate directions.  They figured that they would cover more ground that way.  They turned on their bands so that they could communicate while still separated.
       "Sketch ready,"
       "Monarch ready,"
       "Nightmare ready"
       "Smokescreen ready"
       "Red Assassin ready"
        Throughout the whole infiltration they heard gunshots coming from the bands.  The each had guns in their hands ready to defend themselves.  Nova could hear Ruby fighting someone and Danna rummaging through the building searching for whatever evidence she could find.  They still had no clue who was even in charge of this whole mascaraed. 
         "Awwww what a nice surprise this is, seeing Nightmare here defending the Renegades." Genessia  scoffed.
        "We were staring to miss you," Aftershock added.
        "Long time no see, looks like we've reversed roles isn't that nice" Nova remarked.
        "Ins- I mean Nightmare report what did you find?" Adrain asked concerned through his communicator band.
       "Just some old friends" Nova replied.
        Genessia had been recruiting anyone and everyone she could find to help her.  She had few prodigies on her team that could really cause a threat with their powers but they were skilled fighters.
      "Ok enough small talk Gargoyle proceed" Genessia said smirking.
      Then out of no where Nova was hit from behind.
      "Uhhhh fuck" Nova murmured under her breath but just loud enough that her team could hear her.
      "What? Nova what Happened?!" Adrian was nearly screaming into his mic.
       "Just got hit from behing by Genessia's pet rock" she was able to get off her tongue. 
       " I'm on my way to you right now!" Adrian said nearly panicking half to death.
Bang
       Nova's body slumped to the floor nearly  unconscious.
      "Nooooooooo!" Adrian yelled running into the room where Nova was.
      He engulfed himself into his Sentinel.  He saw Aftershock standing over her holding a gun.  Gargoyle scooped her up and hung her limp body over his shoulder.
     "You fucking Bastards!" Adrian exclaimed livid at this point. 
      "Mr. Everheart, would your fathers approve of your foul language?" Stingray mocked.
      "I could give a damn about my language now drop her before I nock your dumbass to the ground and force you to give her to me" Adrain growled.
      How dare they shoot Nova, the love of his life was now hanging in the balance on whatever "Frostbitch" decided.
      "As you wish 'the Sentinel", Genessia raised her hands a Gargoyle threw her out the window.
       "Nova!" Adrain cried out, he sprinted past them and lunged out the window after her.
       They were 3 stories up and he knew that their was no way he was gonna reach her.  No way.  He watched as her body collided with the ground.  Blood spilled out of her body.  By the time he landed and ran to her she was laying in a pool of blood. 
      "Guys come quick, it's... it's N-Nova" Adrain said sobbing on the verge of collapsing alongside her.
      He transformed back and was beginning to check her pulse when the team ran out and saw the graphic scene.  He checked her pulse on her wrist, than her throat, then put his head in her chest.  No breathing and no pulse.  No pulse.
      "Nooo," sobbed Adrain "wake u-up ple- please Nova, for me."
     "What happened?" Ruby said letting her tears fall freely.
      "Genessia happened," Adrain said scowling, "and now she's going to feel my pain and Nova's."
