It's the last day here, and frankly I can't wait to become a U.A. student. I walked into class, and things were pretty normal. Well, until the teacher passed around rice cakes and soda to celebrate our graduation.
"I hope you all succeed in your careers."
I thanked her, and she smiled at me, before patting my head. She went back to her seat, and we started talking and snacking.
"L/n, may I ask a question?"
"Of course Hannah."
"Your quirk is teleportation, may I ask why you never use it in front of anyone?"
"Oh, well, I don't like using it too much. I think it's a bit unfair. If I just teleport everywhere after I've been there already, it eliminates the chance of me meeting someone new on the way somewhere as well. I guess it just doesn't suit me."
I scratched my neck, and she hummed to herself.
"Oy, Hannah, spill the beans, who do you think you've seen that could beat Kuren in a fight? Pros included."
"I'll get the obvious answers out of the way. The number one hero, Dynamight, there are several pros from the platinum age [when Deku was in U.A.] like Kamui Woods, All Might, Endeaver. I think number two, Shoto, could take her easily. Then there's Deku, who'd have the most ease, and Y/n."
"Pffft, bahahaha! I didn't know you could joke, Hannah."
She simply shrugged, and took a sip of her soda. Man, I wish I could beat Kuren in a fight. That'd be amazing. I finished my snacks, and listened to Minami and Hannah debate on who would win between pros and some of us.
"Okay Hannah, who do you think takes it, Y/n, or Me?"
"Y/n, with ease. How are you going to hit a teleporting target?"
"Simple, predict."
"What if it's a death match? He's already made contact with you. He could teleport his arm inside you, and you're dead."
"......Y/n wouldn't do that."
"But a heavily blooslusted Y/n would."
"Y/n can't be bloodlusted."
"Okay, what about me or Kuren?"
"I'd kill you easily, with no hesitation."
He yelped, and turned to see the girl leaning on the desk behind him, glaring.
"If that pathetic fool can beat you, don't even ask if I can."
"C'mon, he's got a good quirk. What makes Y/n pathetic?"
"The fact he chooses to live like a quirkless loser."
I ignored her, only for her to sit down, and put her feet on the desk, and glare at me.
"So, you're too pathetic to even defend yourself?"
"No, I just know there isn't anything I can do to protect myself if I do."
"At least you understand your weakness."
I clenched my fist, but ignored her again. The bell rang and I left immediately, only to get grabbed walking past the dorms.
"Where are you going?"
I turned and cursed under my breath. Dammit, was it what I said yesterday?
"Hm? What happened to all that moxxy from yesterday?"
"I have nothing to fight you over. Just let me go, Kuren-chan."
"How about you make me? Or better yet, embrace your superiority, and teleport away from me."
"Is that what you want?"
"I want you to abandon your foolish ideals."
"You sound like Endeavor back in the day."
"I'd make Endeavor so scared he runs off to reproduce."
I simply stared at the girl, and didn't move. She gripped my arm tighter, but I ignored it. I felt a cut appear on my face, reopening the cut from yesterday. I didn't even give her the satisfaction of blinking, and she growled.
She let me go, and stormed off. I watched her leave, and sighed to myself. I arrived at my house, and opened the door, to find my father sitting on the couch.
"How was your day son?"
"It was alright. How about you?"
"Oh, it was good. Is that Kuren girl bothering you again? You should tell your mother about it. She's strong, she'll make her stop."
"I will, dad."
I have to take care of my poor father. My mother left him apparently two months after my birth. He has been in denial his whole life. I don't even know what she looks like, but he refuses to believe she isn't here.
I went into the kitchen, and saw we don't have anymore food in the freezer. I put a bag of frozen peas on my cuts, and walked down to the store, and got some food. I was checking out, when I saw a familiar face.
"Hey Y/n! I see you aren't just getting your daily bag of snacks today."
"How ya doin' Cardinal? Ever since you dropped out, I never asked. Sorry I forgot man."
"Nah, don't worry about it. Oh, Andy says he misses you. Poor oaf can't deal with not seeing his friends after we moved."
"Tell him I said he was good company. You guys' anniversary is next month right?"
"Sure is. Hey, what's up with the peas?"
"Same reason as yesterday."
"Woah, the Kitsami Kuren, wasted her precious time, on actually cutting you twice? I think she has a thing for you."
"You know what, if she didn't threaten to murder me on a daily basis, I'd think so too. She said something about making me give up my ideals or something today."
"Maybe she wants to convert you to her religion?"
"Dude, don't do that to any religion. Simply associating her with any is wrong. She follows a power cult or something."
"Who follows a power cult?"
Cardinal's eyes widened, and I guessed who was behind me. I turned and saw none other than Kuren.
"Are you following me?"
"If this wasn't a half-decent store I'd cut off one of your arms for even thinking that."
"Then do it, what's got you so scared?"
Why the hell did I say that? She's fuming!! I'm about to lose my arms! Or my life!!
