*Bell ringing*

I turn around when I heard the bells on the door. Not many strangers come into this book store often so I always look and see if it is a regular or someone new. As I turned around, all I can see is the top of someone's head. I peer around the corner of the book shelf and see you. I see a beautiful girl whom I have never seen before. You are walking around the shop running your fingertips along the books. I come to the other side of the shelf you are looking at, acting as if I were busy, but the only thing I am busy doing is admiring your beauty, and those small finger tips running along those books. God, I wish I could feel those running down my cheek. I walk at the same pace you are and as you round the corner, we bump into each other. I act as though I didn't notice you and drop some books I had been trying to put away. I wouldn't want you thinking I was a creep or anything.

"Oh I am so sorry!"

God your voice is adorable. It is so soft and quiet.

"No I'm sorry. I should have watched where I was going."

You bend down to help me pick up some of the books and I do the same while watching you from the corner of my eyes.

"Are you new around here? I have never seen you come in here." I ask.

As if I would have missed such a beautiful girl like you. If you weren't new I would have seen you at some point. You light up the room, how could I miss you.

"Yea I am actually. I just moved into an apartment down the street and wanted to take a look around the city."

Down the street you say? Maybe later I will have to see this apartment and how close you really are.

"Well it is great to meet you, I'm Joe. Joe Goldberg."

"And I am (Y/n)."

(Y/n). Your name is as beautiful as you are. I will have to remember that and see who you are really are.

"Is there anything I can help you look for?"

"I don't really have a book in mind that I am looking for. I have read so many that I it's hard to find a good book I haven't read."

Your a reader too. You are so perfect. A beautiful girl with a soothing voice who loves to read. I feel as though you were sent here.

"Well I know a great book for you to read, as long as you haven't already."

I lead you over to the classics and give you Lord of the Flies.

"I have heard of this book but I have never read it. It is about some kids on an island right?

"Yes but it is so much more than that. It is a great book with a great meaning to it. I can guarantee you will love it."

"You guarantee it? Well what if it isn't?"

Hmm a sarcastic girl. I like that. I can see the small smirk on your face challenging me.

"If it isn't then you can come back and get a new book on the house."

"Now that sounds like a deal, but what if I do end up liking it. Then what will I get?"

The smile on your face becomes bigger and your eyes look up into mine with a challenging look.

"If you do end up liking the book then you have to agree to going on a date with me."

Your eyes get wider after I say that. Did I say the wrong thing? Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Maybe you were just trying to joke around and I took it too far. Maybe-

"Deal."

Maybe that is exactly what you wanted.

I take you up to the register to pay for your book. As I lead you to the register I look to the floor and smile a bit. I can feel my cheeks heating up. I just made a deal with the most gorgeous girl in the world to go on a date and she said yes. I have never been so happy. I scan the book through and you hand me the money and we say our goodbyes. As your walking out the door I yell to you.

"Now don't forget our deal!"

"Oh I won't."

And with those words you were gone. My heart is already aching at the fact that you aren't here right now. I already miss your beautiful eyes and your sassy attitude. I already know that you are the one for me. I pull out my phone to look for you. It is very hard to find someone based on their first name. There are so many (Y/n)'s on this stupid app but none can even compare to your beauty.

After scrolling through some profiles I finally come across yours.

(Y/n) (Y/l/n).

What a beautiful name that suits a beautiful girl. I scroll through your profile and see that you have a small group of friends which is perfect. I don't want to date someone who is popular, I would have many issues to deal with. I also can tell that you love literature. You post pictures of yourself or of the city and with captions that have quotes from many books that I assume you have read.

I kept scrolling through your profile until I get to the end. I screenshot your profile so I can find it faster. I put away my phone and begin to lock up the store. My heart is racing just thinking about the next time you come in here with a big smile on your face telling me that you liked the book.

I drove to my apartment building and walked up the three flights of stairs until I reached my door. I unlocked my door, dropped my stuff on the floor and headed straight for my bedroom. I wanted to get to sleep as soon as possible so the day would come faster. I got into bed and closed my eyes thinking about you and picturing our future together.
