Naina, Rajveer, and their friends enter the house rented out by Mishika's family just for them.
They reached Mussoorie about an hour back and were warmly welcomed by Mishika and her to-be husband, Nishav.
All of them were surprised to see the grand decoration for the wedding and its functions and were even more surprised when Mishika said that they would be given a single house near the venue to stay in for the duration of all the functions and the wedding.
Once inside the house, they all slump on the sofas and couches in the living room, too tired from the journey.
"This is a great place, Pooja. You did not tell us your cousin was rich," Huda says to Pooja.
"Ah, yes, both Mishika and Nishav come from wealthy families. And Mishika has always dreamed about her grand destination wedding since she was a child. So, she is fulfilling that dream now." Pooja tells Huda.
"Man, this is great. And Mishika, Nishav, and their parents must be well off to afford all this. Are all groups of guests going to get their own house to stay for the entirety of the wedding and its functions?" Yudi asks Pooja.
"Actually, no. The guests will be mixed and put in different houses and apartments. I requested Mishika to give us one house for all of us to share while we are here so that we won't be separated and can spend some time out of the wedding together. I thought it would be fun," Pooja replies, and everyone agrees. It is indeed going to be fun staying together.
After resting for a while, they all start roaming around the house, checking the rooms, trying to figure out who will stay where.
The house had five rooms--two on the first floor and three on the second floor.
Everyone decides that the boys will stay on the first floor, whereas the girls will be given the second floor.
They gave both Rajveer and Shalini single rooms as they were their teachers, and they would also feel awkward sharing a room with them.
For the remaining three rooms, Pooja, Naina, and Nysha decided to share one room, Huda and Yudi shared one room, and Aalekh and Ali shared one room.
***********
Huda and Aalekh were sitting in the living room after finishing arranging their things in their respective rooms.
"If you ask me, why don't we just share rooms with our-" Huda starts but shuts up immediately when he sees Rajveer walking towards them.
"With your what, Cadet Huda?" Rajveer asks, curious to know why the cadet stopped speaking right after he saw him.
"Nothing, Sir. Even I do not know the end of that sentence," Huda lies to Rajveer.
"Oi, blockhead, tell the truth. Tell Sir that you want to share a room with your Nysha," Aalekh says to Huda.
"What? How can you even think that, Aalekh, let alone say it?" Huda feigns innocence, and Rajveer and Aalekh shake their heads at him.
"Cadet Huda, I know we are here to enjoy, but there still are going to be some ground rules. I expect you all will not sneak out of the room at night to meet the girls," Rajveer tells the boys sternly.
"We will see if you yourself will follow this ground-rule or not," Aalekh mutters, knowing very well what has been happening between Rajveer and Naina for the past couple of days.
Since Captain Rajveer has come out of solitary confinement, he has seen a different Naina. She smiles more often nowadays and blushes whenever someone takes Rajveer Sir's name in front of her. He has also noticed her eyes twinkle whenever she sees him.
