Today was the day. Rosalie was so excited, maybe a little too excited...

"Remy! Remy! Remy!" She had ran out of my room as soon as she woke up, which was at 7 AM on the dot. Rosalie was always a morning bird, running around the house chasing the little mouse she called Pinky causing everyone to wake up. Sometimes she even woke up her family by cooking them a nice breakfast.

This particular morning, Rosalie was in an energetic mood because today was the day her and her brother were to begin their school years at Hogwarts. She expresses her excitement when she barges into her brother Remus's room abruptly and starts to jump on his bed.

"Wake upppp!! Today is the day Remy, now get your arse up!" She stands heroically, hands on hips and one foot on her brother. Remus groans annoyingly.

"Sally did you have to wake up so bloody early in the morning?" As much as he wanted to shove her onto the floor, he'd never do anything to hurt her. She frowns at the name Sally. She hated it and he knew. "Would you please get off of me now?"

"Oh all right." She jumps off the bed with two feet. She waits for Remus to get up, but instead he turns the other way around, back towards her and falls back to sleep. She huffs and walks out arms crossed.

She decides it is best for her to get dressed herself and pack up, but she had already packed most of her belongings the day before. She slips on her light washed muggle jeans that her mother had gifted her and a purple long-sleeved shirt. She slips her 10 1/4 in. wand into the sleeve of her shirt, holding it close to her.

"I'm bored." She tells her barn owl, Athena. The problem about always waking up before everyone else was being awake and alone in a very quiet house. Athena lets out a small screech as if she were talking back to her owner.

"Great Idea!" She smiles brightly and takes out a box and rewards Athena a cricket. Rosalie removes her shoes to prevent the floors from creaking and walks to her parents bedroom.

The Lupin's lived in a small cottage in Yorkshire. It wasn't much, but it was home. It smelled of firewood, cinnamon, and chocolate. Rosalie used to love chocolate, but after finding out her brother was a werewolf, she'd grown to hate it. Remus' obsession with chocolate started only after finding out that it can kill dogs. Remus was no dog, but he was hoping to kill the beast within him. Rosalie hated his stupid theory, sometimes making her sad.

As she makes her way down the hall, she turns back around towards the kitchen and decides to prepare morning breakfast before pranking her parents awake, just to get on their good side.

"Done!" Rosalie had cooked up two delicious looking omelets with a side of ruby red strawberries. Looking back at the time, she grows frustrated at how slow time seemed to be going. It was only 7:55. Technically 8, she tells herself.

Rosie fetches two dungbombs from the highest cabinet in the closet. Her parents, Lyall and Hope Lupin thought that putting her pranks in the highest cabinet would stop her. Ha! They were poorly wrong.

She walks into their room quietly, avoiding certain floorboards and plants them on both sides of the bed. She quickly sets them off and runs out the door, shutting it on the way out. She waits by the door as she hears the bombs go off. Rosalie covers her mouth trying to stifle her laugh, but failed poorly.

"Rosalie Jenny Lupin!!" she hears her mother yell from the other side of the door. Rosalie falls to the ground laughing to the point where her face was pink as a peony. The door opens and her dad towers over her looking serious but then breaks out in a wide, proud smile. Rosy stands up and jumps into her father's arms. He picks her up effortlessly and ruffles her hair. Her mother comes following him waving her arms frantically.
