You were in the kitchen, making a small lunch for yourself.

Mista popped in, "yo y/n! Check this out!"

"Oh, hey Mista, what's up?" You took a bite of your sandwich.

"There's an eating contest at one of those traveling carnivals today, to see who can eat the most pizza! It says you need a partner though, and Narancia can't come." He frowned.

"Oh, really? I could ask Bucciarati if he'll let me go with you."

He gave you a skeptical look. "Y/n, you know this is an eating contest, right? Ya know, where you'll need to eat a lot of food."

You place your hands on your hips, giving that, 'are you kidding me?' look.
"Are you sir, judging me on my capabilities?"

He gulped. "No, ma'am."

You laughed, patting his arm. "Good. I'll go ask Bucciarati if I can go then."

"Alright!" he replied.

"No." Bucciarati said.

"What?! Why not?"

"It sounds stupid, and you'll only get a stomach ache from it."

You pouted. "Pleeeease? You said you wanted me to warm up to the members more, and this is my chance to warm up with Mista a little bit."

Bucciarati sighed. "I did say that, didn't it? Well. As long as you stick close with Mista, then it should be alright I guess."

"So you'll let me go?!"

Bucciarati nodded "just don't over do it with the eating contest." 

You squealed with delight. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Alright, alright, now hurry up and go before I change my mind."

You nodded, running out the door.

Bucciarati smiled at how happy you were. He wished he could've gone to the fair with you as well.

You and Mista entered the fairgrounds. It was quite busy; people screaming as they ride the roller coasters, and people cheering as they win at those carnival games.

"I think the eating contest is at the end of today, so we can spend the rest of the time having fun as we wait!"

Your eyes sparkled. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" You grabbed his hand and ran off towards the rides.

The two of you started off with the biggest roller coaster they had. You waited in line.

"Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever been on a roller coaster."

Mista looked at you like you were insane. "You're kidding!"

You shook your head. "My family could never afford things like this. So yeah, it's my first time."

"And you chose the biggest roller coaster here."

You nodded. "It looks fun!"

He gave a sly smile. "If you say so."

You two eventually got in the roller coaster, sitting in the very front.

Your palms were sweating now as the roller coaster was slowly going up the incline.

Mista looked over, seeing your knuckles white from gripping onto the handle bar tightly. "Don't tell me you're scared!"

"S-shut up!" You stammered.
