{ Goodbye's}
———

Eliza took one final look at the dorm she had spent the last five years in, all of her belongings were now packed into trunks and all that was left was a bed frame and a few other pieces of furniture on her side of the room. 'Godric am I going to miss this place' She thought to herself. Especially since she would no longer be sharing a dorm with her best friend, and instead she would obtain a whole new dorm with a stranger as a roommate at Hogwarts.

Hogwarts. As nice as the school seemed, she couldn't help but dread moving across the seas and continuing to study magic over there — even more so knowing she wouldn't be able to spend time with Holden. He was the first one she told about her father being transferred over. The two both agreed to talk whenever they could in order to keep their relationship strong, whether it was through text, phone calls, or owl. However she couldn't help feel it would cause a set back in their relationship.

"Oh, there you are." Haley walked through the door and into the dorm. She sat down on the edge of her still made bed, looking up at Eliza with a sympathetic smile. "Its gonna be alright, you know? Ive heard Hogwarts is filled with nice people, and I'm sure that you'll fit in great there."

"I hope so. It's just going to be hard to adjust to their ways, and how am I supposed to survive long classes without you.." She giggled a bit. "I mean, what am I supposed to do without you."

"What are you supposed to do without me?" Haley furrowed her brow. "Have you even thought about what I'm gonna do without you? I mean who's gonna go prank all the professors with me now?"

Eliza sighed with a grin, walking over to sit next to her on the edge of her bed. "I'm gonna miss you, promise to call me whenever you can?"

"Promise." Haley tied her pinky finger with Eliza's before the two wrapped their arms around each other for a quick moment. "Okay, come on. You can't just hide up here an avoid going, Holdens looking for you anyways and I told him I'd come find you."

Eliza gave her a nod and picked up her last trunk, then the two descended down the stairs of the girls dormitories and out into one of the corridors of the school where students were making their ways out of the school and back home for the summer.

Once the two girls made their way out of the castle, they met up with Holden down at the platform where they all would take a train back to their families — also where Holden and Haley would part ways from Eliza and she would be off to London with her parents.

"Ready to go?" Holden took hold of Eliza's empty hand after he gave her a nod, looking back at the castle that stood above them on the hill. This would be the last time she stood on these grounds, the thought merely bringing tears to her eyes. She took a deep breath and continued on their way.

The train was already filled with students, only few compartments left. The trio ended up sitting in a compartment with a few fellow students in the same house, and Eliza found herself looking out the window as they train began leaving the station, her head leaning on Holden's shoulder.

She watched as the world flew by while the train moved swiftly over the hills. Although the train ride was over an hour, it seemed to slip away quickly and before she new it there was only a few minutes before it would come to a stop at the train station. She grinned a bit when she looked across the compartment, Haley was sleeping with her face pressed against the window, a half eaten chocolate frog in her right hand.

"Someone's gotta wake her up," Eliza rolled her eyes with a smile. "We're almost at the station."

"Already?" Holden looked down at her with a slight frown before looking over across at Haley causing him to giggle a bit. "I thought we had some more time."

"Me too." She tried to hold back tears, covering it up with a forced smile. "I'm gonna miss you.."

"Don't." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'll see you soon, spring break really isn't that far away, Eliza."

Eliza looked up at him, placing a soft kiss on his lips as they felt the train come to full stop. They stood in the compartment and began making their way off the train, where she saw her parents standing on the platform waiting for her.

They would be leaving for London straight away, using one of the floo stations located on the platform. Her parents had already travelled to London earlier that week and unpacked all of their things in the house they would be living in down there so it would be an easy travel from the platform.

Holden gave Eliza one last hug and a peck on lips before parting ways, both trying to see the best in things. She gave Haley a hug as well before they bid each other one final goodbye and Eliza headed off with her trunk and over to her parents.

"Ready to go, dear?" Her mother smiled.

"I guess so."
