Hi everyone..been awhile, but boy do I have an explanation for being gone for what, three weeks? I promise...and I know i keep promising and not going through with it BUT I PROMISE this time its for real, like seriously.
The past few weeks have been an absolute disaster...to start I was admitted to the hospital and spent a few nights there for literally nothing because apparently there's not a thing wrong??? Idk but I'm fine now so oh well. And then I had to finish up school, which I was close to failing so most of my nights were spent finishing missing assignments so i was able to pass and start my summer early. By the time I'd finish homework i was exhausted and just wanted to sleep, HOWEVER, schools done for this year...giving me all the time in the world to write this fanfic. So I'm back :)

Anyways, thankyou all for being so damn patient with me, you have no idea how much I appreciate it! Also, I'm starring a new layout with the chapters (previous ones will stay as are...maybe idk I might go back and edit them to have gifs and all at the beginning???) since i feel they're kind of boring without gifs or anything so here ya are :)

{ Don't Worry about it }

Eliza did her best not to reveal what happened when she went back to visit Holden. She would make up different excuses for the few friends like Theo, Inina and Cedric who asked how it was, or why she wasn't there long. However, Inina seemed to pry a bit more than everyone else, which was understandable considering the state Eliza was in when she came back after her awkward interaction with Cedric in the astronomy tower.

"Where'd you go?" Inina sat up in her bed, yawning and rubbing her eyes as Eliza walked into the room — her cheeks still a bit damp. "I woke up and you were gone...but more importantly why are you back from visiting Holden so soon?"

Eliza looked down, avoiding eye contact with her as she walked over to her wardrobe and begun to slip on a pair of shorts and an oversized t-shirt she would use as pajamas. "Um, things just didn't work out.."

"Liz, you look a mess." Inina begun tucking her strawberry hair behind her ears. "There's gotta be more than things just 'didn't work out'. I don't mean to pry-"

"You are definitely prying.."

"Sorry.." Inina mumbled. "Its just, I'm your friend, and how upset you looked, and look now just make me worry."

It was sweet, knowing that Inina did care about her — and so finally she gave in, and explained everything from arriving at Holdens to storming out and not even looking back. She left out a few somewhat unimportant details here and there, and did her best to not let here eyes swell and fill with tears once again. She shouldn't be crying over someone who didn't love her anyways, right?

Without saying anything Inina walked over to Elizas bed and wrapped her arms around her, the two just sitting in silence for a moment before Inina finally spoke up. "He's a dick, Liz. Cheating prick doesn't deserve you. I am so so sorry that this happened to you, believe me, but don't you dare waste your time crying over him, okay? Forget about him and find someone who treats you right."

"I appreciate it." Eliza nodded, wiping her damp cheeks and puffy eyes before Inina walked back over to her side of the room and got under the covers. "But we both know that finding someone who will treat me right is very rare, guys are assholes...which apparently thats something I'm just finding out now."

"Maybe it's rare where you're from, but there's quite a few guys here who were raised to treat others the way they wanna be treated...just keep that in mind okay?" Inina let out a slight smirk, receiving a confused look from Eliza.

"What are you saying..?" Her brow furrowed. Although Eliza hadn't known Inina for long, there was one thing she knew for sure about Inina...and that was that she was a pretty terrible liar.

"Nothing, nothing...just letting you know not to give up, alright? Get some sleep." Inina whispered as she yawned, dozing off before Eliza could even reply. It took her a bit to realize it, but Inina was right. Wasting her time crying and sulking around over someone who wasn't even loyal to her wasn't the way to deal with this. And as much as he hurt her, and it hurt to tell go of someone so close to her, she had to move on — no matter how long it took.

"Alright, party tonight in the slytherin common room." Theo grinned. The slytherin quidditch team had won the last game on Wednesday, which of course called for a celebratory party. And as much as the slytherins would rather keep the party to their house, everyone always invited others from other houses and it turned into a huge drunken party...or at least thats what Inina had told her. "And I guess, you two losers are invited...and Cedric of course but I have no idea where he is."

"Drinks, loud music, bright lights...I'm in."Eliza agreed, before standing up from the grass and brushing herself off. The three had been hanging out in the corridor, Theo and Inina on the bench, and Eliza resting her back against it. "Alright, I'll be back i'm just gonna go to the washroom."

Leaving the courtyard, Eliza took the corridor that led down to a few classrooms and the main washrooms. She pulled out her phone to thankfully find no new messages from either Haley or Holden. Although she blocked their numbers, she hadn't taken the time to block them on socials. But to her surprise, they hadn't even tried to contact to her through there.

The words Inina spoke yesterday rang through her head, instantly making her block them on everything they could possibly contact her on...erasing them completely, a somewhat fresh start.

Something about Ininas words had really stuck with her, and although it had only been a few days since she found out Holden had been cheating, a piece of her was beginning to move on and realize it wasn't worth wasting her time crying over a boy who didnt treat her right in the first place.

It was when she turned the corner she ran right into the missing member of their group, Cedric. He smiled at her before she begun to speak up. "Sorry, didn't mean to run into you."

"Oh no worries." Cedric smiled back before continuing on his way, only for Eliza to turn and have him stop once again.

"I actually meant to ask you," She continued on. "Would you be open to another studying session..maybe Sunday? If you have the time, of course. I could just use the extra one even though I pretty much have it down pat."

"Oh, yeah of course." Cedric agreed, crossing his book filled arms across his chest — He had obviously been busy reading through textbooks and books earlier on when he wasn't with Theo, Inina and her. "Meet me in the library again, around 2:00pm?"

"That would be great. Thankyou so much." Eliza smiled, and the boy continued on his way down the hallway.
