The driver agreed and called the police.

They followed the car that kidnapped Ran Tongtong out of the city. When the driver saw that the road was getting more and more skewed and that there were fewer and fewer cars on the road, he felt a little nervous and asked, "Are you still going to follow?"

Chen Liguo thought for a moment and said, "Let's follow for another twenty minutes. Be careful to not be found out."

The driver gave a worried sigh.

Ten minutes later, the car carrying Ran Tongtong stopped outside a suburban warehouse. Chen Liguo got out and asked the driver to go back first. The driver looked at him anxiously and asked him what he was going to do.

Chen Liguo said that he was fine, he'd stay there to the side so be at ease.

The driver said, "Then I'll wait here. I've already called the police. The police are expected to come soon."

Chen Liguo said okay. He hesitated for a moment and then whispered, "Mister, can you lend me your cell phone to make a phone call?"

The driver handed his phone to Chen Liguo.

Chen Liguo took the phone and dialed Ran Qingkong's phone.

"Hello?" When the call connected, it was not Ran Qingkong's voice on the other side.

"Hello, I am looking for Ran Qingkong." Chen Liguo said.

"The boss's cell phone dropped in the office." The woman at the other end of the phone said, "What can I do for you?"

Seeing that the phone was answered by Ran Qingkong's secretary... Chen Liguo simply described the matter and made his location clear.

The Secretary immediately said, "Okay, I'll contact the boss right away. You should be careful there."

Chen Liguo said yes, and the call was ended from the other end.

When the driver saw that Chen Liguo's complexion wasn't good, he said a few words of comfort.
