CHAPTER 3: Execute the plan!

Lloyd's POV

Lloyd: "Ruby! Stop falling asleep! Professor Port is gonna give you a detention."

I shook the red haired girl next to me and woke her up. She replied to me with her eyes half closed.

Ruby: "Huh? What? No... I wasn't... Asleep. I was... Just... Resting my head?"

Lloyd: "Look, I know that Professor Port's stories are boring to you, but some of them actually have useful information every now and then. You should really at least li-"

I turned my head and Ruby just fall asleep again which surprised me. I just sighed and gently patted her head.

Lloyd: "Man... You look cute when you're asleep."

Just then, I looked at Jaune, who had been sitting with Weiss the entire class. As I can hear from his conversation with Weiss, Jaune asked her to go on a date, which she got annoyed. Weiss ignore Jaune as she looked at the time.

Lloyd: Man... When will you give up Jaune?

Just then the bell that signified the end of class rang, interrupting Port in his story.

Port: "...And then I-oh... Timed that one wrong I guess. Well, the stunning conclusion to the story will have to wait until next time."

Lloyd: Aww man... I really enjoyed his story!

Ruby suddenly jumped up from her slumber when the bell rang.

Ruby: "Time to execute our plan!"

Lloyd: "Will you keep it down?! Isn't it suppose to be secret?"

Ruby: "Oh yeah... Sorry, my bad."

I mentally facepalm and exit the classroom with Ruby and the rest of the team heading to the dorm room to get ready. As we're leaving the classroom, we saw Jaune, who had dropped his head down on the desk in disappointment. We walk past him and Yang patted him on the head.

Yang: "One day."

Timeskip

The girls had been getting ready themselves and put on some less flashy clothes than their regular battle garments. I won't be wearing my trench coat this time.

We devised a plan last night to find out whatever we could know about Roman and the White Fang were planning to next.

Blake: "I thought the class would never end!"

Lloyd: "I want to finish Port's story!"

Ruby sat on top of her bunkbed and address the team.

Ruby: "Alright guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!"

Ruby jumped down from her bunk bed as she said this and almost hit Weiss underneath her.

Weiss: "I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously."

Yang: "Hey, we've got a plan. That's... Moderately serious."

Lloyd: "For me... This is very serious because I get to investigate for the first time."

Weiss: "We all are."

Ruby: "Anyway, everyone remember their roles?"

Weiss: "You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family it shouldn't be a problem."

Blake: "The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning."
