OLYMPIAN THRONE ROOM:

Percy POV:

Finally. After 8 months of sleeping and a few months of quests and war, good ole Dirt Face is asleep for millennia to come. We, that is the Seven and all the twelve Olympians, teleported into the throne room to sounds of applause and whistling. Crowds of nymphs, satyrs, godlings and minor gods and goddesses alike fawned around each of the seven, with the largest crowd around me. Figures. The probably knew what I did when Gaea awoke.....

Flashback:

"AWAKE! AT LAST!" Gaea said as she rose in all her dirt filled glory.

We had slain all of Gaea's children, the Giants. Yet some of mine and Annabeth's blood fell onto the altar in the middle of the Parthenon, awakening Gaea.

Tendrils of earth grappled everyone except me, as I destroyed the tendrils trying to grab me using my Earthshaker powers and my trusty sword Riptide.

"Ah, my not-so-favorite grandchildren! How the tides have turned. Now bow at my feet, as that is your true place!" Gaea said.

Good. So she was not aware that I was free. Using Annabeth's cap that had fallen to the ground, I went invisible and took my father's trident from my father's unconscious form. He was a threat to Gaea as he could rival her in power so was targeted and knocked out early. I needed a symbol of power to kill Gaea and my father's trident was the best option.

I sneaked up on her and attacked her. She immediately conjured an earthen sword and blocked the strike. Her face showed surprise, then anger and finally rage. She fought with a maddening intensity until I was weak and battered.

She smirked at me and said, "Witness the death of your loved ones, Perseus Jackson!" With that the tendrils of earth coiled around everyone's throats, choking them. Even the Gods would spend some quality time with Tartarus if she succeeded. Rage overtook me and I somehow teleported to Gaea (A/N: How? Any guesses?) and drove both my sword and trident into her right ankle.

She screamed and fell to her knees, and I jumped onto her and slashed at her neck with my father's trident. She in retaliation, drove an earthen sword through me, puncturing my right lung, showering herself in my blood.

I saw the Primordial of earth fall, and I fell beside her. The last thing I heard was everyone shouting my name, and then I was greeted by a, "Well who do we have here?"

Jason POV:

After Percy slew Gaea, we all rushed to his side, screaming his name as he fell. Apollo bent down and checked for his pulse. He rose with a solemn face. "Dead." He proclaimed.

"NO!" Shouted everyone, yet the loudest was Poseidon, whose shout released a small quake in Athens. A tsunami rose from the sea, but all immediately stopped as The Lord of The Seas fell to his knees, sobbing. Hestia ran over to him and squeezed his shoulder, instilling him with hope.

Everyone was silent for a few moments, absorbing the inevitable, when Piper gasped," The cure!"

"What?" I asked, but Leo gasped and pulled out a small vial with a blood red liquid. He handed it to Apollo and said," Help him!"
