Chapter 2: New Faces

Anyways, without further ado.......... on with the chapter!

2 weeks after Gaea is defeated-

Percy POV:

It's been 2 weeks since I demanded my wishes. Camp Jupiter was remodelled into Camp Othrys in five days. Dang, those Romans don't mess around. Probably that's why they lasted for millennia.

In those five days, I managed to convince a good few Titans to accept our conditions. All four cardinal Titans accepted, surprisingly. Thethis, Themis, Rhea, Prometheus, Leto, Phoebe, Lelantos and a few others. They have taken their oath and are currently rebuilding the Fortress atop Othrys with the help of the Romans. They informed me that after I had slain Kronos, he faded, and his power fell upon the last man who was victor against him, AKA me. So now I was a Lord of Time, yet I only had demigodish powers over it, and would only be able to fully use it if I became an Immortal. Either that or I would have to pick a successor before my death.

They decided that in light of this news, I should be a honorary member of the Titan Council. I accepted.

Rebuilding Othrys took another five days, after which all the Romans started their journey east, towards Camp Olympus.

Meanwhile..........

In the past two weeks, the Camp has changed completely. Rather than the 12 original cabins in a U shape, a huge white marble building had been built( courtesy of the Amazons), and it had been enchanted by Hecate to contain as many cabins as required. Once you enter the building you enter an enchanted hallway, where you must speak the name of the cabin you wish to enter. All cabins have wards so to enter a cabin you must be a child of the immortal that cabin belongs to, or be in the company of such a person. Inside the cabin are the same as they were, except they are enchanted to enlarge or shrink depending on the number of demigods assigned to that cabin. The cabins all have a door which doesn't open, but touching it's handle will flash you to the enchanted hallway, so you can leave the building or visit another cabin.

Next to this building is a small cabin where the undetermined and demi-titans live, until they are determined or sent to Camp Othrys respectively. These two buildings surround a massive amphitheatre with a hearth at the center, where we have dinner and campfire sing alongs.

Beyond this is the training ground which is remodelled to look and function like the Field of Mars where we have war games as well, with the arts building on its left, and the craftsmanship and smithing shop on its right.

Right in front is the Big House, Home to the Oracle, Chrion, Dionysus and all our weapons and food supplies. Beyond the Big House is the Forest, where we have our usual Capture the Flag on Friday.

Behind the Marble Building is Half-blood Hill, where Thalia's pine tree, The Golden Fleece, The Athena Parthenos and Peleus stand. This marks the boundary of camp.

To the camp's east we have Long Island Sound, and to the west we have hills, courtesy of Poseidon, making a direct assault difficult.

The camp remodeling finished a day before the Romans arrived. After their arrival, I was at the camp border since I was a part of the welcoming committee, I saw a young blonde demigod being chased by two hellhounds.

I yelled to him," Hey! Come here!" He ran past me into Camp and I quickly disposed of the hellhounds with my sword, Riptide. The campers came and picked up the boy. Chiron asked him," What is your name, boy?"

"Mace Pike." He replied. I finally got a good look at him- 5'9" with a lanky frame, thin, not very muscled, blond hair, blue eyes. Earlier that was a sure shot sign of being a child of Zeus or Apollo, but now one cannot be sure with so many new gods and goddesses.

Mace was taken to the Big House and was shown the initiation video to explain the Greek and Roman mythology and Camp Olympus.

We had war games that night. Romans vs Greeks. I led offense while Annabeth led defense. We managed to infiltrate their fortress with no problem, and easily reached their flag. I had taken Mace with me so he could get some on-hands experience. Before I could grab the flag, however, Mace pushed me, swiped up the flag and ran out.

By the time I came out, everyone was cheering Mace's name. He was gloating," Yeah I got the flag. Jackson got taken out easy so I fought most of them single handed." Everyone looked at me with shock.

"That's a lie and you know it Mace. I do not mind you taking the flag for glory, but I will not tolerate you spreading lies about me." I replied.

"Ooh, jealous much?" He sneered and many campers laughed.

Before I could reply, however, a symbol appeared above Mace. Looking at it I knew I was in for a hard time.

Chiron said loudly" All hail Mace Pike, son of Zeus, King of The Gods and Olympus, Ruler of the Skies."

Everyone bowed to him except me. He was basking in the glory until he noticed me." Hey you! Bow to me, for I am the son of the king."

I replied with a classic "Nope."" I am a Son of Poseidon, making us brothers and equals. We do not bow to each other."

"Ah yes, that weakling of a fish god. I wondered which God would have a weakling such as you." He jeered.

" Be careful, Mace Pike, Son of Zeus. You do not want to anger the sea and the House of Poseidon by jesting at my father. Beware."

And with that I headed to my cabin and fell asleep with the thought, maybe that son of Zeus will get off of his high horse.

Oh how wrong I was.

Mace POV:

That stupid sea spawn Jackson needs to be taught a lesson to respect his superiors. I overheard talk about fatal flaws and gathered that Jackson's fatal flaw is personal loyalty.

I think I know just how to break him.....
