Michael could remember the worst moment in his life oh so clearly:
It had been almost six hours since their rendezvous at Starbucks, yet Michael could still feel the satisfaction of being comforted by Calum. He was such a sweet boy. Although he may lol like the dangerous type, he really wasn't. That fact just made Michael's heart melt. Though, maybe he was the reason Calum was acting so well behaved. Could he make the bad guys good for a weekend?
Michael seemed to think that the stereotypes of people meant nothing. Not only because Calum seemed comforting and genuinely a beautiful soul, but because the person he suspected would be his future husband appeared so lovely and sweet - obviously not the case.
Michael glanced over to the clock, reading it as 21:32. Luke should be home by now. Surely he wouldn't have spent time searching for Michael at the cinema after encounter they left?
The thought about him doing that spread guilt around Michael's body. He didn't inform Luke that he was leaving early or he was home. Luke would be worried sick.
It was only a few moments later when the door swung open, a person resembling Luke pushing himself inside the house. "Where the fuck were you?" His voice made Michael turn back to the clock. It startled him, the deepens and raspiness.
"I-I'm sorry.." Michael mumbled between his lips, fingers picking at the material of his sweater.
Luke huffed his voice, throwing his jacket over the back of the couch, hitting Michael a little. "Sorry isn't good enough, Michael. Since when did you get like this? You used to be so obedient, babe." The blonde wandered over, crouching in front of him.
Michael turned his head away, not liking the soft expression Luke produced. "I don't know what happened.." Michael sniffles.
Luke leaned over and took his hand. "Okay. I'm sorry too."
The words practically made Michael frown in confusion. Luke never apologised. Maybe him hanging with Ashton changed him for the best? He couldn't be sure though.
"Thank you.." Michael says, eyes wandering over his fiancée's body.
His eyes zeroed to marks on him. He couldn't be sure what they were, but suspected the worst, his nose scrunching up in disgust.
"What.. What are those?" Michael pointed down to the white marks; obvious on the dark material of his black, skinny jeans.
Luke felt his lips turn into a smirk. "You see, baby. This is what happens when you disobey your fiancée. What was I supposed to do, huh?"
"What do you mean, Luke?" The tears Michael had tried to hold back, splurged over his eyes.
"Me and Ash, Michael. We had our own little rendezvous in the toilets." Luke chuckled, patting Michael's knee. "How about you go to sleep?"
"What?" Michael asks. His tears were falling more rapidly. Luke.. Cheated?
It wasn't even the fact he cheated that got Michael; it was the fact that Luke seemed so pleased about his work.
"Go to sleep, Michael." Luke tells him, more of a warning in his tone this time.
Michael leaned forward, slapping his lover. "Goodbye, Lucas."
