"Oh come on out with it," Millie moaned and groaned. She probably would've hit me if she was here right now.

"He said it was for work but he gave me his number," she squealed so loud even the phone had to lower the volume automatically.

"I think you just woke up every dog in the city." Taliyah held a hand to her ear.

"Taly not now, our little Elara just got her first boyfriend."

"He's not even a boyfriend. We are just working together."

"Ok I'll admit that's a good love story," Taly laughed and started to talk with Millie more. I just laid back in my bed and listened to their crazy stories. For the next hour or three, it was just them talking about my future love story, their old boyfriends, and well prom.

"I don't think I can actually go girls."

"Babur by then your dad has already let you out once. We could just say we are hanging out. I'm sure it would be fine."

"Exactly, it'll be fine," Millie agreed with a huge smile on her face. I shrugged but was considering that. Could it actually work? "I got to go girls, talk tomorrow." Millie hung up and Taly soon followed leaving me alone. I heard a bunch of footsteps downstairs. It sounded harsh and heavy. Confused, I got up quietly and made my way to the top of the stair. I peered down careful not to make myself known.

I let out a sigh of relief seeing my father standing head of a group of men. I went back to my room since I knew I wasn't supposed to come down when people were there. I just had to make sure it wasn't anyone trying to kill us. Might as well try to get some extra school work done. My mother says that if I can finish the rest of my lessons I'll be able to be done sooner.

When I finished with today's and the rest of the week's work I laid back in my bed. It was dark outside now, I must've missed the sunset. I set down my things and opened my balcony doors. The cold air hit my face and I couldn't feel more relaxed. One of my fluffy blankets was laid on one of my chairs so I grabbed it no wrapped it around myself. I sat down in my chair and just stared out at the city skyline.

There's nothing like the calming sounds of city nature and-

"Shhhh!" My head whipped to the right after hearing someone's voice. I heard shuffling in the bushes and quickly got up. My lights were off so I don't think they knew I was there.

"You fucker, someone's going to hear us." I was trying to think of how to attack them if they were trying to get to me.

"How was I supposed to know there was a hole there?!?"

"Shut the fuck up, it should be right here." Now that voice I recognized.

"Daniel?" I asked out loud. I think I must've scared one of them since I heard someone fall.

"Oh shit, it's a ghost. Where the fuck did you take us, Daniel?! A girl ghost too!" I heard a smack and then a flashlight flickered on. It shone in my direction to which I shielded my eyes from the bright light. It quickly went shone down to my feet and out of my eyes. I could see Daniel and two other guys.

"What are you doing here?" The other two guys seemed to just not talk anymore as they were just staring at me now.

"Needed to prove something." He shrugged nonchalantly.

"That I'm real because your friends look like they've seen a ghost."

"I don't know what's wrong with them. That's Thomas and Nick."

"But you can call me Nicholas." The one boy said with a smile.

"Thomas," the other one nodded at me

"Thomas," the other one nodded at me. I waved awkwardly.

"So how long do you plan on staying in my backyard?"

"So how long do you plan on staying in my backyard?"

"However long you want us here," Nick walked over closer to the balcony.

"Ok bye," I turned around and went inside. I shut the doors and locked them behind me. Their voices were just mumbles but I could probably imagine what they were talking about.

Not too long later I heard loud crashes and lots of people rushing around. The outdoor lights turned on and I could hear yelling outside. Tell me those idiots did not just get caught. Then again there is security walking around 24/7. How they got here in the first place is a mystery.

My door slammed open revealing my mother looking more worried than ever. She let out a sigh of relief seeing me sitting in my bed. I could tell she what's out of breath which made it all a little funnier but I wouldn't let her know that.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"The guards they found some hooligans outside of your room. They're being detained for questioning. I wanted to make sure you were not hurt. If you were I think I would've had a heart attack. I told your father to not give you a balcony. "

"Please relax I am fine, let me go see them please." She looked reluctant but nodded.

"Three guards in the room with you and three outside."

"6 outside. They're not going to hurt me," I laughed.

"I do not want to take any chances with that but you are almost 18." I nodded and we went downstairs where they hold anyone who is detained. She waited outside along with 6 guards like she had said. Before I opened the door, I quickly grabbed a pair of keys from one of the guards to open the cuffs that the boys were most likely in. When I saw the three boys sitting there, they looked stressed and scared.
