~Chapter 12~

~Y/n's p.o.v.~

Ughhh....during the whole flight, Jungkook stayed awake, and therefore didn't let me sleep. One second he'd be blasting music through his headphones, one second he'd be watching a loud kung fu film, and then he'd decide to create a long conversation with Jimin and Tae. I really feel like smacking him-  and it's already been 11 hours into the flight- when am I ever gonna get to sleep 🤦‍♀️

After tossing and turning, but still not being able to catch 2 seconds of sleep, I straightened up and fixed my shirt. Then, I pulled out a map from my bag. I stared at it for a couple minutes, trying to remember the area that we we're traveling to.

"hm? what are you doing? I thought you were sleeping.." Jungkook turned his head to me, putting his headphones down.

"Well- you won't let me sleep so I'm trying to remember these streets- it's been a while since I've been to New York yk" 

"Mhm- but you look really tired- here i'll be quiet, try and sleep" He put his headphones away and kindly smiled.

"You're being weird" I said as I put the map away, scrunching my nose.

"No no I'm serious sleep-" He gestured, unnaturally.

"Hm-" I laid my head back and dozed off shortly after.

~J.JK's p.o.v.~

She slept peacefully, her hair falling next to her big eyes. And the light shining from the window making her look so unreal. It felt like I never hated her- like she never got annoyed- like I fell- but it was weird, because I didn't fall immediately when I met her. I always liked her and thought she was pretty, but now....it's a lot different- I finally gave in.....but not really....I guess I can say i'm seeing a different side of her- but she's different too...

I was thinking all of this as I fiddled with the seatbelt. Then- I felt her head move onto my shoulder..

oh...

I smiled.

Of course she's unconscious, but I still feel tingly.

I want this moment to go on forever, but I want her to be living it like I am- she always pushes me away- and all I can do is push her back, I never really knew what else to do... 

My feelings have always been hidden.....transparent.....non-existent to the people around me...

~No one's p.o.v.~

He was still thinking all these thoughts in his mind- running them through so fast- (the life of an overthinker) until he too fell asleep, and resting his head on Y/n's, involuntarily of course since he's asleep. 

Tae was engrossed in his action movie, so he didn't notice, but Jimin had gone to grab some tissues after dropping water on his shirt and was coming back.

He stopped after seeing Y/n and JK.

"Tae!" he whispered. "Tae!" V looked up to Jimin in a confused face.

"Come see." V looked over to see them, then chuckled. "They look adorable"

Jimin snapped a picture- hoping to use it for blackmail or something of that sort later.

-Time Skip--2 hours later-

~Y/n's p.o.v.~

I opened my eyes slowly, then saw Jungkook sleeping too....next to me....very closely.

hm?

I'm not complaining...... It probably isn't his fault too....
