Derek's POV

I was awoken by my alarm going off. I quickly got out of bed and grabbed a pair of black jeans and a green shirt to wear today.

I walked to the bathroom and sat my stuff down on the counter. I walked over to the shower and turned on the water. I got undressed and got in the shower. I washed my body and brushed my teeth before turning the water off. I wrapped a towel around my waist and got out.

I dried my body off and got dressed. I did my hair before walking out of the bathroom and putting my dirty clothes in a bag. I walked over to Mike and shook him before speaking.

"Yo Mike get up"I said, still shaking him.

"Dude I'm up, stop shaking me!"Mike semi yelled.

I just laughed at him before walking off. Mike got out of bed and grabbed his outfit before walking into the bathroom to shower. I slipped on some shoes before grabbing my phone, wallet, and room key.

"I'll be right back"I yelled to Mike before walking out of the room.

I walked down the hall before stepping in front of Devin and Ethan's room. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. Devin opened the door before slightly stepping out of the room.

"Yo, what's good?"Devin asked.

"Nothing much, where is Ethan? ''I asked him.

"He's in the shower, why?'' he asked.

"Oh, I need to talk to you real quick and grab coffee"I said.

"Let me grab my phone, wallet, and key real quick, I also need to let Ethan know I'm leaving"Devin said before going into the room.

I just smiled and nodded before he walked into the room.

"Hey Ethan I'm getting coffee with Derek, you want something?"I over hear Devin yell.

"Yeah get me a caramel iced coffee please''Ethan responded.

"Ight''Devin said before walking out of the room and motioning me to walk with him.

We get in the elevator before I pushed the lobby button. The elevator got to the lobby and we walked out of the hotel. As soon as we stepped outside the warm sun hits my skin. We started walking to the coffee shop.

"Okay, what do you need to talk about''Devin asked me while turning his head to look at me.

"Okay, so how are you gonna ask out Ethan today?"I asked looking at Devin.

Devin just kind of froze before looking at me like he just saw a ghost.

"Uhm, I'm not exactly sure I didn't think much about it"Devin said.

"Bro, the meet n greet is in like four hours, you gotta hurry up and think about something"I said

"I know dude, it's just I'm nervous and what if he says no? What if he just laughs at me? What if the boys hate me? What will the fans think?"Devin started rambling.

"Devin! Everything is going to be okay, stop freaking out. Ethan literally likes you, he wouldn't say no or laugh at you. The boys and the fans ship you so there's no reason to worry. Now come on, we have to be at the van in a little"I said grabbing Devin's arm and pulling him into the coffee shop.

We walked up to the ordering area before looking at the menus. We gave the lady our orders before paying. We thanked her and then walked to a wall to stand by. We had light conversations while we waited.
