Prologue
There's a small country just across the border from Ireland, one that is so small it doesn't show up on Maps, but that is not the only reason that this country is hidden. It is named Bolbor, and it is run by a Queen who rules the small country that is just slightly bigger than the City of London. Bolbor is practically a very large Island, usually warm and the spring time brings in beautiful flowers that overtake every sight of greenery that Bolbor has to offer.
Which is a lot.
The citizens of Bolbor all play a part in the ecosystem to keep Bolbor beautiful, the forests are overrun by large growing trees. The Capital City of Bolbor, Feile, has large vines running up most of the beautiful old architecture that the city is most proud of. The city has been compared to many old and beautiful cities such as Edinburgh.
The city takes up a lot of the entire country, Feile is just slightly smaller than London and with the rest of the land of Bolbor makes up the outskirts with little villages dotted here and there around the countryside. The official name is the outskirts which categorise the entire country side that borders the city, it is most beautiful.
One very peculiar thing to know about Bolbor is that every single one of its citizens is magical. It is an entirely magical country and the Monarchy is a long line of purebloods that have run over the country for centuries. This does not mean much in such a day and age, the Queen and Citizens of Bolbor have made very clear to those who come seeking pain that Bolbor is a peaceful place and solace for all.
Whether pureblood or muggle-born, Bolbor has room for all.
There are many things about Bolbor that pique the interest of Wizards and Witches alike, which has gained it a large tourist attraction amongst the wizarding world. The lovely white sandy beaches with beautiful clear water have always been a hit in summer, with tourists coming from all over the world to visit the magical boardwalk filled with ice cream parlours, theatres and the likes...all enjoying muggle and wizarding traditions that the citizens contributed to.
There is also the castle that is situated at the top of a large hill overlooking Feile, those who live here are the most famous and well-respected people of Bolbor and have contributed to making Bolbor what it is to this day. The Royal Family.
The inside of the Castle is off-limits to tourists, but there are some very special days each month that Citizens from all over
Those days are Princess Cressida's favourite days.
Why? Well, Princess Cressida, the Queen's Granddaughter is not allowed to leave the Castle. After her parents were murdered when she was just a child, her grandmother vowed that she would do everything in her power to keep Cressida safe.
If that meant that the child could not leave the Castle then so be it.
Her grandmother brought in the best tutors for her magical studies, the highest acclaimed witches and wizards of their world to teach her how to perfect her ways. They taught her for hours each day, leaving her with essays and routines and lessons that she had to make sure were up to the highest standard.
She did love her studies, but sometimes it just didn't feel like enough.
Though for those days of the month in which the Castle was open to all citizens were the most wonderous days for Cressida, she could see the outdoors and the flocks of people coming to see her grandmother. She could say her hellos and speak to those she had never met and laugh with the Citizens she had grown to know well.
It was a truly joyous day for Cressida, and she looked forward to it every year.
Bolbor was her grandmothers' home, she roamed freely. The castle was Cressida's, but she didn't feel free at all.
