Anything Else Mr. Martin?

Chapter Four

The Meeting 

Gabe walked out right behind me, his hand resting right on the small of my back, guiding me on where to go. He led me into a huge office space that outlooked the city and mirrored the same sturcture as the one in his office building downtown that i first met him in. 

"This is her." Gabe directed at the chair that was turned around. I was lightly confused but continued to pretend I knew what was going on. Gabe walked around and leaned over the chair to give her a kiss. Figures he does that with every girl he comes across . Wait, I wasn't jealous, I don't know wher that thought came from. 

"Speak child, I know you must be curious as to whose behind the chair, yes?" the voice spoke strongly. I lightly smiled to myself and shook my head, earning a light gasp and a confused expression from Gabe. 

"I am completely aware of the presnece I am in Ms. Morales and I am grateful and honored to be in your presence although I am slightly curious as to why Mr. Martin had brought up into the company of someone so important on my very first day of being his personal assistant." I spoke calmly. I could just hear the smile appear on her face. 

"For confidentiality I will keep my apperance a secret but I must allow you the knowlege of knowing that I am very pleased with my sons choice." she spoke. watching Gabe's face as he watched his mother's expression was priceless. Like a kid on Chirstmas, or someone who just won the lottery. I mean he would probrably look like himself since he is one of the most successful men in the world. "Now, Ms. Vaughns is it? I have one last question for you."

"Yes ma'am? Ask anything you like." I rushed a little too fast. Shit....

"How long do you intend to stay with martin Industries. With my son?" I looked over to gabe who was watching me with intensity, waiting for me to say something, anything.

"i intened to stay for as long as Mr. Martin wants my company ma'am. However long that may be." She turned her chair around to face me full on, breaking her preivous words. She was really sten looking but beautiful none the less. Her smirk, if I didn't knw better, would of been a tale-tell sign for me to run but what would that do. i wouldn't make it out the door.

"I was praying you'd say something like that."

"And here we are. Quaint little place you two have here." He spoke casually. I nodded and smiled at him.

"Thank you sir." I spoke before walking ouit of the car, only to be stopped a moment later by my hand being kissed by his soft lips, again.

"i hope I've made an impression on you deary. See you bright an early tomorrow morning." he smiled before walking over to his side of the car, gettin in and driving away. I smiled at his leaving car before walking into the apartment Dana and i shared and throwing my heals off.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed 4 pieces of pizza to heat in our microwave. Rich galas might be nice and all but their food couldn't serve ants, there so small. I set my plate in the microwave and turned to my brother who was watching me from the counter. "enjoying the view DeeDee?" i snarked.

"You realize it's like 2 in the morning right?" he sassed back, gettin up from his place behind the counter towalk around and face me, only in his boxers.

"You realize that I was completely safe the whole time concidering that one, i was with one of the richest men in the world and two that If anything were to happen to me, I have trackers on almost everything I'm wearing DeeDee." I said, taking the pizza out and stuffing some into my mouth, Dana taking a piece off my plate.

"So you had fun. I mean i have to make sure being older in all." he joked. I lightly hit him on the shoulder as he pretended ot be wounded.

"shut up Dee, we're twins stupid, we were born at the same time. You may be like 2 seconds older but that's it." I laughed, teasing him. he laughed along too and soon we were headed off to bed in our bedrooms that were literally right across from each other.

"But, in all honesty, did you have fun with him tonight.' he asked seriously. I nodded and started to unzip my dress.

"i met his mother."

"You met Maria Martin on the first night?" he asked, jaw dropped. Again I nodded and stepped out of my dress so that I was just in my bra and thong.

"He was really, incredible DeeDee."

"I'm glad. Love you Geli, Goodnight." he whispered, slowly shutting the door.

"Love you tow DeeDee, Goodnight." I breathed closing the door behind me and walking to my nice and cozy bed. I can't see how anything could go wrong from here. From here, the clouds had moved away from me and Dana. Everything seemed to be working out for us now. Not like it used to....

I sighed and got into bed, starting to drift off almost imediately.

 "DeeDee!" I screamed, running through burning building to try and find my brother, my raven black hair flowing behind my as a ripped around the corner into my brothers bedroom. "DeeDee!!!" I screamed harder trying to find him. Shit where is he? "DANA!" "GELI!" i heard someone scream from behind me. I couldn't remember the face but the voice, oi I couldn't pin the voice either. "Angel you have to get out of here! The building's gonna come down on top of you!" "NO NOT WITHOUT DANA!" I screamed even louder, trying to speak over the surround sound of the building and the trucks outside. "GELI!" i heard a younger voice scream as he pulled on my arm. "DANA! Oh thank God! I thought I lost you!!" "Come on we have to go!" We both nodded and linked hands running towards the front door only to be stoped by it being engulfed in flames. The mystery voice was gone and it was just me and Dana. Alone. I looked up to see a burning plank falling right for- 

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed, jolting awake from the bloody nightmare. I looked down and felt my heart rate in a panic. I was back in my bed, in my apartment, the one that i shared with- 

"OMG Geli, are you alright. I heard screaming and I...." Dana yelled bursting through my door and walking over to me. He sighed and  lifted me up, carrying me to his room, cradling me in his arms. "It happened again, didn't it. The dream with the two of us and the fire." he spoke gently. i was sitting in his lap with on of his big shirts drapped over me. I nodded into his chest and started to cry. He rubbed the pads of his fingers across my back soothingly as he rocked up back and forth. "Geli, the fire was years ago. We're both still ok, Geli look at me," he pulled my face into his hands, "we're both still here." I nodded and climbed off of Dana only to have him pull me back to bed with him. 

"DeeDee..." I groaned lightly, not wanting to bug him any further. 

"You're staying in here with me ok?" he spoke softly. it's like we were kids again, and I couldn't help but smile. I nodded and crawled into bed with him. softly wrapping my arms around his waist and thanking him for being here for me. "I had it too...." he breathed against my forehead. I looked up at him and kissed his forehead.

"Dana..... non c'e' fortana right? We came out of the fire for a reason." i confirmed, drifting back off to sleep. 

"Right. There is no luck."
