"Hello Ms. Martin, terribly sorry for the scare. My name's Angel Vaughns. I'm Mr. Martin's personal assistant." I spoke before lightly shaking her hand and walking back to sit next to Gabe's side, with a smug look from Gabe. I pulled the work onto my lap as Alex nodded and moved to place the flowers by Gabe's bed before sitting in the chair adjacent from mine.

"What Gabe? Did you order a personal assistant or a personal assassin?" she giggled before leaning over to kiss his forehead. I lightly smiled as the gesture and continued to file. "So. Angel is it?" she spoke.

I looked up and nodded. "Yes Ms. Martin?"

She snorted before bursting out into a fix of giggles and waving her hand in front of her face. "Gosh, you make me sound so professional and old. Just Alex sweets, just call me Alex." she giggled. I smiled and nodded before again looking down and finishing the paperwork. "Does my brother always have you working Angel?" she asked me about two seconds later.

"Yes, ma'am, but as long as I can keep Mr. Martin, relaxed and satisfied, I don't mind." I smiled, looking from her to Gabe and then back to her. She hummed and nodded.

"Gabe, why are you working her so hard, it's been what? Two days???" She lectured Gabe. I heard him again trying to shift out of the restraints but I placed my hand on his chest and lightly urged him not to try in again. "Scratch that. I think she training you!" Alex laughed.

I smiled and finished the work, placing it by Gabe's head before turning over to get a clear look at Alex. She looked more beautiful in person. Her long hair pulled into a loose ponytail and her leather jacket strewn across the back of her chair as she was brushing some of Gabe's raven locks from out of his eyes. I mentally swooned how sweet she was too him. I felt a buzzing in my pocket and pulled out my cell, looking down at the screen and nodded to myself, acknowledging the message I just received from Ashton.

"Sir, a message from your mother will be arriving shortly. She has traveled to Havana and had not specified whether she or Ashton will be returning anytime soon. She had requested that you take on the business meeting which I have scheduled in two weeks from now. Mr.Pendery of the Boheme Industry, although illustrious, has agreed to possible terms of a merger. Shall i send the go ahead for the company to draw up a certain specified contract under the terms and agreements you and your mother had discussed two nights ago?"

Alex's jaw dropped more than I thought was possible as Gabe's face showed no other emotion other than pride. I gave a sideways glance as to push my question and in response he nodded. I nodded lightly and pulled out my phone to send the details to the company. I got their numbers this morning and made everything clear so that people wouldn't worry about the boss.

"Angel." he groaned. I looked up and walked over to him, lifting him up so that he could sit up and face me.

"Yes sir?"

"We need to do a press conference. Get on top of all of this. Before this incident pulls anything down. I believe that this crash wasn't an accident. I will find out who but for right now we need to let everyone know that the Martin Industries do not shut down because of a so called accident. Two weeks from now. Will you be ready? "

I smirked and nodded at him before dialing a number in my keypad, "Absolutely sir."

The next three weeks were hell. Working late nights, sleeping short hours, barely seeing Dana at all anymore and pushing Gabe to health almost put me into a hospital bed myself. Gabe was either the angel of all angels or the demon devil himself at times.

He would make moves, or advances towards me and I would let him although nothing ever happened. Not until. . .

"Angel! Tuck your arms back, reload and release! Nothing to hard." He yelled at me. I nodded and tried to reload but the handle locked up on me.

"Oh great" I groaned in response. I moment later I felt Gabe's body pressed up against mine, His arms wrapping around my as he slowly yet irritatingly taught me how to reload. "Why do i need gun training sir?" I asked innocently.

"Because, you are my personal assistant that is why." he spoke harshly, moving my hands in the direction which he wanted to teach me. His voice gave off a heavy irritation but his actions gave off a totally different vibe.

"Reload," he mumbled against my ear sensually, "Click into place,"  he breathed, moving his hand down my figure to my waist, fortunately I was too focused on the gun in my hands to notice, "shoot."  he breathed, giving my waist a small squeezed. I gently pressed the pun, the bullets flying from it gracefully. My mind coming back to reality as I felt Gabe's lips, graze across my neck before walking away from me completely....

I think I know what he meant by personal now....

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

". . .So in closing we at Martin Industries will move past this educating incident and push forward. From the Martin's personally, thank you to everyone for the prayers and we will be back on top, very soon. That concludes this public announcement and press meeting. Thank you." I concluded, gathering up the note cards from the heavily mic-ed podium and trailing behind Alex, Ashton closing the rear. He had flown back about 3 days ago, giving me the worst news that anyone could here. But I wasn't ready to lay that on Gabe just yet. I'm holding out on him for just another week.

He's getting out in 2 hours. I have been assigned to take care of him. Assigned to guide him. I don't believe I knew what I was getting into when I signed up for this gig but being a week into the excruciating job put me through hell and back, all while Gabe guilded and watched.

As I walked into the building, I nodded to Alex and gave her a warm, informal hug before breaking apart and walking in Gabe's room, watching his sitting form in a suit stare at me with a hungry expression.

"Now do you understand Angel? Now do you see." he spoke gently but with furry in his eyes. I nodded and matched his expression before striding over to him and smiling, hovering over in my low cut dress.

"I understand sir. Now I see what you meant." I said, smirking.

"Name the man who wasn't in the crowd. I know you know who. You were watching for him too." he said, outreaching his hand and skimming it across my waist.

"Cole Alan Pendery."

His eyes grew bright as I watched him struggle from his chair so that he was standing just a bit above me. He leaned over an kissed my cheek and then my neck, working his way down while I was putty in his hands. I would of let him continue if not for a small glare that caught my eye. I placed my hand on his chest and walked him over to the chair sitting him down before whispering in his ear.

"Not in front of the hidden camera Gabriel."
