All I could feel was the man's toned arms wrapping themselves around my waist from behind, with kisses tracing down the nook of my neck. Kisses trailing down so softly, my insides were melting. It was getting hot in here. I was beginning to feel anxious as my breathing got heavier.

"Are you okay?" I sat up straight, almost jumping as my friend's voice interrupted my thoughts. Her bright green eyes penetrated my bubble, as she intently stared at me from her office chair next to mine. She looked at my face, and I began to feel the heat in my cheeks for getting caught not working. "Oh my, Noo..." she got up and grabbed my hand, dragging me to the women's restroom. As soon as the doors closed, she ducked down to check for other people in the stalls before sprouting back up to eye level and letting go of my hand.

"You were thinking something dirty, weren't you?" She smirked and nudged closer to pry more details. I sighed and looked down at my feet, caught red-handed. She only gasped with excitement in response.

"Who is it? Does he work here?" She was quick to ask questions. "I cannot believe you, in the whole seven years I've known you, oh my god!" She smacked my shoulder playfully, but it stung a bit.

"Listen, you cannot tell a soul..." I trailed off, nervous to say anymore. Sandra stood silent waiting for more to come out of my mouth. "Never mind."

"Wait just a minute! Now you HAVE to tell me." Enthused and bubbling with excitement, I just sighed again in defeat. I couldn't keep this moment from my best friend, especially since she has always been there for me. I glanced at my wristwatch really quick.

"We go on lunch in ten minutes, so let's go back to our desks and finish up. We can go grab a bite and then I will talk...okay?" She looked upset that I delayed this super important information for another ten minutes. She nodded and began to walk out until she stopped suddenly and swerved back around at me.

"And at work too! He must be special..." she chuckled and headed out the door, leaving me to think about my life decisions again. I walked out of the restroom back to my desk and tried excruciatingly hard to focus on the report I was writing. Sandra must have been suffering as well, as this topic was extremely important for her since I rarely met a decent guy. Fifteen minutes later, we had reached a nearby restaurant and had gotten comfortable at a booth with a drink in order.

"Soooo, give me the details! Is he one of the office guys?" All of her energy from earlier was still emanating from her body, giving me anxiety. I started off explaining about my predicament with that awful woman from the café. I guess I was taking too long talking about her because Sandra cut me off. I couldn't keep her waiting any longer.

"This guy I met at the café, he was really handsome and saved me from that crazy lady." That was all I managed to blurt out. I wanted to save the whole scenario to myself.

"Oooh, a knight in shining armor! That is so crazy!" Our drinks had arrived, and she immediately took a sip from her straw and giggled with enthusiasm. The waitress took our orders for lunch and left us alone. I casually took a sip of my water, making sure to be mindful of what I tell her next.

"So, did you get his number?" She asked me. Out of all the questions I was preparing myself to answer, that was not one of them. Caught off guard again, I shook my head in silence. This was a bad answer for Sandra, causing her to frown in disapproval. She began to lecture me on flirting and how to get guys, given my reputation of being single. I don't think she understands how awkward I can be when involving a guy. I'm sure she was talking to me about my luck with men, but I started thinking about this man again. I didn't even get his name. Not only was Sandra disappointed in me, but so was I.

"Finally," I said to myself as I was finishing up the last report for the day. I sent it off to my supervisor and logged out of my desktop. I took a deep breath to destress and began to pack up my things. After fitting everything into my bag, I got up and headed for the elevator. By the time I got to the main lobby, Sandra had texted me. She lad left a while after lunch to go meet some clients.

"Drinks tonight?" I looked at the screen, trying not to think about the spreadsheets I had to get done soon. I replied with "yes" because I needed a night to hang loose and have fun. It had been weeks since I went out with Sandra, and I actually felt like going out too. I headed home to change my clothes and freshen up for my night out.

When I got home, I saw that my back door was not closed all the way. I started to freak out and stay where I was. I even tiptoed back to the front door and yelled out to see if anyone was there. There was no response. The panic inside me did not go away, but I looked around to see if everything was where it was supposed to be. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. Perhaps I accidently left the door cracked or did not close it all the way. The chances that I left the door open are likely, especially since it was such a busy day. I tried to think about something else to make me feel better, but the idea that my door was open made me tense. I got another message from Sandra again. I closed the back door, locked it, and then went to go get ready to meet Sandra.
