A Universe Away

Friends?

A/N: Spoiler alert. If you haven't watched all of Wandavision yet then don't read yet. If you aren't planning on watching it then you can read it. 

Wanda left the house to take a walk. She needed to clear her mind. With everything that was going on, she needed somewhere quiet to sit and think. 

She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, so she bumped into someone. She looked up quickly. 

"Oh! I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." Wanda said apologetically. 

"That's alright, hon! The name's Agnes. What's yours?" _____________________________________________

"Agatha, please. I'm begging you. You didn't feel what I felt." 

"Esther, please! You're telling me The Scarlet Witch popped up out of nowhere and tore your powers away?" 

"Yes. You have to believe me, I got it all back but you should've seen it." 

"How do you know it was her?" 

"She had scarlet magic, Agatha. All of her powers matched up, and it is extraordinary." 

"Chaos magic?" 

"Yes. Undoubtedly." 

"I'll have to see for myself. Where did you say she was?"

"I'm Wanda." 

"Lovely to meet you dear! I have to say, I haven't seen you around here before." Agnes smiled. 

"Oh, I'm not from here. I just got here recently." Wanda smiled back. 

"Have you seen the town?" Agnes asked. 

"Not all of it, it seems lovely though," Wanda said, there was something strange about this woman. She seemed nice so Wanda disregarded it. 

"Well, then you need a tour!" Agnes said, locking her arm with Wanda's. 

Agnes took her all over the town, she showed her almost everything. Wanda quickly questioned where a good spot to be alone would be. Agnes showed her that too. By the time Agnes took Wanda through the whole town, it was nearly night. Wanda thanked Agnes for the tour. 

"Anytime hon! And I'll see you around yeah?" Agnes smiled.

"Yes, you will." Wanda smiled back. 

They said goodbye and went their separate ways. Wanda went back into the Salvatore's house, well more like a mansion. When she walked through the door, Damon confronted her. 

"Where have you been? We have someone who desperately needs your help you know?" 

"I was looking around the town." Wanda frowned. 

"I hope you also happened to be looking for a way to bring Caroline back." 

"I think I have something." Wanda bit her lip. 

"Are you sure?" 

"Mostly."

Damon sighed and they all went and stood around Caroline's grey body. Wanda put one hand over Caroline's head, and the other above her heart (which Stefan had put back for them, seeing that no one else really wanted to do it). 

She closed her eyes and scarlet magic seeped out of her hands. The hole where Caroline's heart had been ripped out began to heal, and Wanda reached out to Caroline's mind at the same time. Wanda was close, she could feel Caroline's ghost, presence, or spirit. Wanda wasn't really sure. 

The doorbell rang. Wanda was annoyed, "You've got to be joking. I was so close!" 

"Good thing your magic has a 'Save Progress' feature." Damon frowned. 

"That's not funny." Bonnie and Stefan said in unison. 

Elena went to get the door, "Klaus?" 

"Have you made any progress with Caroline?" He asked. 

"Yeah, but you actually just interrupted it." Elena frowned. 

"Oh..." Klaus muttered. 

"I think you need to leave," Stefan said, stepping up behind Elena. 

"You already messed up the spell," Bonnie said, coming up behind them. 

Klaus rolled his eyes and left, he just wanted to make sure Caroline would be ok. But he understood their anger towards him. Kind of. Ok, he didn't at all. 

"Ok, get back to work," Damon said to Wanda. 

"Before I do that-"

"OH, could you just do it?" Damon said sighing. 

"Do you know anyone named Agnes?" Wanda continued, ignoring Damon's outburst. 

"No, she's probably just one of the people I didn't care to meet." Damon frowned. 

Wanda nodded. She went back to work. She reached out to Caroline's mind and healed her physical body. 

"Come on Caroline," Wanda said aloud. 

Then, startling everyone, Caroline gasped and sat up quickly. Wanda yelped, Bonnie and Elena jumped back, and Damon and Stefan were surprised Wanda actually did it. Bonnie and Elena wrapped their friend in a tight hug. 

"Thank god!" Elena said. 

"Oh, I was so worried!" Bonnie said. 

Damon looked at Wanda, straight-faced, "Nice work." 

Wanda raised an eyebrow at him. Stefan rolled his eyes, "That's my ass of a brother's way of saying he's grateful. But really, thank you." 

Wanda nodded, "Of course." 

She decided to head to bed, receiving a few more thanks and, surprisingly, hugs. She had forgotten what it was like to give people nightmares, so that night. She had quite a few of her own.

"Did you meet her?" Esther asked. 

"I did. Poor girl has no idea who she is. She's awfully sweet though." 

"Not to me." Esther frowned. 

"Well maybe if you didn't bring back her worst memories and kill one of her new friends in front of her she would've liked you a little more." Agatha/Agnes said sarcastically. 

Esther just scowled. 

"Once I gain her trust, I'll be able to get close enough to her to take her power. No one will be able to stop us then." Agatha smiled. 

Esther smiled too, "Sometimes you're rather smart." 

"I know, I just have to put on this 'Nosy Neighbor Agnes' act for a while longer and boom, plan in action." 

"What if it doesn't work?" Esther said, worrying a bit. 

"Don't worry Esther. My plan will not fail. Wanda needs someone to rely on and someone like me is the perfect candidate! I'm the nice neighbor who just wants to help. Wanda doesn't have access to my mind, but I can make her think she does. That way she won't suspect anything fishy going on. And neither will her new friends."

"I hope you're right Agatha. If this goes wrong it's over for both of us." 

"Oh, Esther. This is going to go just the way we want. Trust me."
