A Universe Away

Agatha

"I haven't seen Agnes for the past two days," Wanda said.

"I know. There's definitely something going on here." Caroline said.

"So the last time we both saw her, she was acting weird about Westview." Wanda clarified.

"Yes, that's correct." Caroline nodded.

"Where would she be?" Wanda wondered aloud.

"I have no idea." Caroline sighed.

"She wouldn't be with... Esther ... would she?" Wanda said.

Caroline looked up at her, "Only one way to find out."

-Three hours later-

Wanda, Caroline, and Damon (who was forced to tag along) had Bonnie and the Mikaelsons help to locate Esther. They found her in a normal house, in a somewhat small town. Wanda sent a scarlet blast into the door, blowing it open. Damon vampire sped around the house.

"There's someone here. Upstairs." He whispered.

Wanda walked in slowly, "Hello?"

Agnes came out from the kitchen, "Well hiya hon! What brings you here?"

"Where's Esther?" Wanda replied.

"Who?" Agnes said smiling.

"You know who, Agnes. If that's even your real name." Wanda frowned, her accent tinting her words.

"Smart girl. If you must know, Esther is in the basement." Agnes said. Turning back into the kitchen.

Wanda, Caroline, and Damon made their way into the dark basement. They found a tunnel with vines coming out of it. If Esther was going to be anywhere, it would be there. It was quite creepy though.

Wanda walked through the tunnel. Coming into a nice-sized room with stone pillars and shelves with objects that didn't look quite normal. The one that caught her attention had an orange aura. She could feel its power.

She heard two screams. She whipped around to see Agnes walking in with a little bunny. She stroked it, her hair was a mess.

"Oh, Wanda. Wanda. You didn't think you were the only extra powerful girl here now did you?" She said with her trademark smile.

Wanda was confused. "The name's Agatha Harkness, lovely to finally meet you dear!"

Caroline woke up, her head pounding. Next to her was an unconscious Damon. She nudged his shoulder. Nothing.

She stood up and realized she was behind a wall. She pounded it with all her vampire strength but it didn't budge. Whatever she broke off re-appeared with even more strength. She yelled as loud as she could, "Wanda! Wanda, can you hear me?! Help!"

She pounded on the wall, "Help!!"

She sighed in defeat, she was probably locked away somewhere no one would ever find her, she'd end up desiccating.

Damon woke up slowly, "What the hell just happened?"

"Esther just happened. I think. I can't really remember." Caroline sighed.

"Where's Wanda?" Damon asked.

"I don't know but I'm getting worried. " Caroline said.

Damon nodded and sighed.

Wanda tried to use her power, when she realized she was in a room with runes in it.

"Damn it." She said.

"So you know about runes? Good." Agnes, well Agatha, said.

"Where's Esther?" Wanda demanded.

"Oh her? She got annoying, and boring, so I took care of her." Agatha stated plainly.

"What does that mean?" Wanda demanded again.

"It means she's dead, I killed her. No more Esther." Agatha rolled her eyes.

Wanda was surprised, then quickly hardened her expression, "Guess I just have to deal with you then."

Agatha smiled, "I don't have to come out of here, and you can't use your magic in here. Looks like I win!"

"What did you do to my friends? Where are they?" Wanda asked, realizing her friends were gone.

"There somewhere in here actually, we just can't see or hear them because their hidden." Agatha smiled.

Wanda looked around.

"Oh I think I hear them now!" Agatha smiled, purple magic going into the air.

"Wanda! Wanda, help! Can you hear us? We're back here!! Help!" Came Caroline's voice.

Wanda ran to the wall she heard the noise come from, "Caroline! Damon!"

She got yanked back and hit the ground hard. She groaned and rolled into her stomach.

"I want to know how you're here." Agatha stated.

"What do you mean?" Wanda said, still on the ground.

"This is a different universe Wanda, you jumped into a different universe with your power. It takes years upon years to know how, and many more to execute it. You did it with no knowledge. How?" Agatha basically begged as she pulled Wanda up and tied her hands behind  her back.

"I don't know how I did it. I just remember waking up here." Wanda lied.

Agatha slammed Wanda into a pillar.

"I don't like liars Wanda." Agatha frowned.

"Why would I tell you the truth? You lied to me first." Wanda frowned.

"Well I have your friends remember?" Agatha smiled and waved her hand again.

"Wa- AHH" Caroline screamed. Damon's followed not long after.

"Stop! Don't hurt them! I'll tell you!" Wanda yelled.

The screams stopped.

"Then tell me." Agatha smiled.

"I- I remember this empty feeling. I felt utterly alone, with no purpose. I was angry, at many people. Myself even. I lost the love of my life. I had to k- kill him. And it hurt, then I disappeared. For 5 years, when I came back he was gone. I went to find him and he was torn apart and being experimented on. So I left and found the deed to a foundation in Westview in my car. I drove there and felt the pain all over again. My knees went weak and I fell to the ground and I just....screamed. I knew I was releasing power but everything went black and when I woke up I was here. That's the last thing that happened." Wanda said, tears in her eyes.

"So your emotions affect your power, grief and sadness specifically. Ooh, and anger. I like that." She turned around to leave before saying, "I want your power Wanda, and I always get what I want. You have five minutes to free your friends or they die. Then meet me outside, and if you don't then I'll kill you too."

Agatha freed Wandas hands from the magical tie. Wanda realized she could use her magic again, since the runes had faded.

She blasted scarlet at every wall. One broke, she ran towards it and blasted a steady stream of power into it when it exploded. She found a tunnel system.

"Caroline! Damon!" She called.

She heard footsteps from her left, she turned her head to see Caroline and Damon running towards her.

Caroline wrapped her in a bear hug, "Oh my god I was so worried about you!"

Damon just nodded, "Thanks. Again. Where's Esther?"

"Aga- Agnes killed her." Wanda said.

"How?" Damon said.

"She has powers too. Like mine. And her real name is Agatha, not Agnes. Now come with me." Wanda explained.

They nodded and followed Wanda outside.

Agatha smiled, "This is going to be fun!"
