In the coming weeks we trained harder than ever, as Oliver said Merlyn would not rest until he reached his goal. But we couldn't figure out what exactly his goal was. We planned to be better prepared for the second attack than last time. However, it was also important to me and Barry that Oliver spent as much time with Felicity as possible. So I and Barry moved John Diggle in because he was the only one who could bring Oliver to his senses when he got lost in something. "What do you think is Merlyn's goal?" John asked me. "Honestly, I'm not sure, but I have two theories. Either he wants to take everything from Oliver and eventually kill him or it has something to do with me," I replied to John. "Why do you think it has something to do with you?" John wanted to know. "Because he attacked me when you left me alone with Felicity, he said I should atone for preventing his henchmen from killing Felicity. But I think there was more to his attack on me than that . ", I explained my suspicions to John. Suddenly the light went out. "Somebody has to warn Oliver, Merlyn is attacking again," I said. "He's not here, he's with Felicity right now," answered Barry, who just came into the room. "I'm not here this time because of Oliver," came Merlyn's voice. "I also brought you company," he added. Do you still remember me.", Came a familiar voice. At first I didn't want to believe it, but actually, Caro, my ex, faced me. Now I realized why my scar had hurt so much the last few days. "I'll make you pay for everything you did to me," she yelled as she lunged at me with her sword. I released myself from my stiffness in a flash and grabbed Oliver's bow because I couldn't get my sword. "You really think I hurt you, you know that you threw me down a flight of stairs back then." I replied while I dodged her sword and gave her an arrow. Unfortunately, Merlyn, who was fighting with Barry and John, realized that the situation was getting out of hand for Caro. Therefore, like last time, he lit a cloud of smoke and the two disappeared. "Julian, who the hell was this woman. You seem to know each other," John yelled at me. "That was Caro, my ex from who my scar on her back comes from. But of course she thinks I had hurt her and not the other way around and to get her revenge she apparently allied herself with Merlyn." I answered his question and tried to stay calm. "What the hell happened here?" wanted to know Oliver, who was just entering the room. "That was Merlyn, he attacked us again, but why don't you ask Julian, he can surely tell you more about why this all happened," said John only when Oliver asked. "The best thing to do is discuss it outside, Oliver . " I just meant. "What happened in there in my absence." Oliver wanted to know when we left the room. "That was Caro, my ex also got my scar on her back. But of course she thinks I hurt her and not the other way around and to get her revenge she apparently allied herself with Merlyn." I explained the situation to him. "Julian, you are bleeding.", Felicity announced from behind, who had now also come. As if I had known, I took off my T-shirt and lo and behold, the scar that Caro had inflicted on me opened up and was bleeding. We postponed our discussion until later so that Oliver could sew the scar again. After that we decided to continue discussing tomorrow what had happened and what we wanted to do about it.
