~~~~Aiden’s P.O.V.~~~
      I don’t know how I’m going to be able to lie to her.
      Holding her here in my arms as she sleeps after crying her eyes out just last night is hurting me. She’s been through so much. What if she finds out that I knew what was going on with her and that I was sent to bring her home. She’ll hate me. She’ll never want to speak to me ever again. I don’t think I would be able to deal with that, seeing as how I may just be starting to fall for her. I wasn’t supposed to kiss her yesterday, but I couldn’t resist. Her lips were so soft and the way they molded to my own was incredible. Just thinking about it has my head spinning all over again…when did I become such a girl?
      I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Lennox mumbling something under her breath.
      We were lying together, spooning. She turned around in my arms to look at me.
“Why are you doing this?” she asked.
      “What?” I asked not quite understanding what she was talking about.
      “Why are you consoling me? I know that no one wants to put up with a crying girl, so why are you doing so? You don’t even know who I am.”
      I was taken aback by her question, but answered nevertheless, “I can tell you’ve been through a lot, and I just want to help you feel better.”
      It wasn’t a lie.
      She looked up, searching my face for something I was not aware of. It seemed as if she had found it and slowly I saw her lips turn up into a smile. It was a small smile, but it was still a smile. I responded with one of my famous grins that usually make other girls blush.
      It seemed to have had the same effect on Lennox because I saw a rose color begin to cover her cheeks, and she quickly looked down, avoiding my eyes.
Last night after I ran out to get her, I brought her back to where I had set up camp. She didn’t say a word, but the silence wasn’t awkward, it was actually quite peaceful. I just held her in my arms until she fell asleep.
      I was glad that she hadn’t run away because today I would be taking her back home.
      As these things went through my head, Lennox was just staring at me with confusion in her eyes.
      “What are you thinking about?” she finally asked bringing me once again out of my thoughts.
      “Nothing.” A complete lie.
      She seemed skeptical, but didn’t push it any further, and for that I was grateful.
      “So, I guess this is probably the time for us to get to know each other.” she paused. “I mean if you want to.” She added and bit her lip showing that she was nervous.
