Chapter 7

So I was going to make a really long chapter, but then I decided, lets just make it two... so this is going to be a long story :D hope yall like it!

Louis smirks, watching the resentment settle on my face. I have to say, I expected something a little more... tasteful. After listening to Louis ramble on about how many girls he had gotten this way, I have to admit even I am a little curious to see if it works.

"Are you done?" I ask, sitting back on the soft cushion.

He shrugs, "I guess so."

"I don't know if this is going to work," I mumble.

He sighs, "It's a long process, but it's effective... and it only works under special circumstances, but you, Al, are a special girl."

"Don't call me Al... and what do you mean?"

His smirk returns, "You're different."

I frown, "Good different?"

He nods, "Good different."

After a long pause, I roll my eyes, "It sounds tiring."

Louis opens his mouth.

"And complicated,"

He takes in a breath of air.

"And a little repulsive..."

He waits for me to finish, but i keep my mouth closed.

"But....." He has a small smile forming on his lips and I sigh.

"But it's better than nothing."

He sits back, satisfied with my acceptance of his insane plan. 

Child's Play is basically a more complicated version of the phrase 'playing hard to get'. Louis said the object is to find out what the person, liam, likes in a girl, and to be exactly that, 24/7 relentlessly, but don't push for anything beyond friendship. Louis thinks that if I follow his close instructions for a while, I'll have liam begging to be more than friends... which doesn't sound too terrible.

"But I swear if this doesn't work-

"Give it a month," Louis suggests, sitting up so his elbows balance on his knees. "If he doesn't even consider going out with you I will personally convince him myself."

"Why can't you just do that now?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Where's the fun in that?" He says with a smug grin.
