"Just a minute!" I shout out to whoever just knocked on my door.

I towel dry my hair and do a once-over in my mirror. I had to shower all the icky-ness off of me from yesterday. I still can't believe i'm seeing the boys again tomorrow. Somehow they have this ability to get on every last one of my nerves.

Bzzz.

Well... all accept for one of them.

I pick my phone up from the counter and smile like an idiot. I've been texting Liam all morning, about the party, about his career... everything really.

I type out a quick response as I navigate my way through the kitchen of my apartment to the door. I usually never get people at my door. Gustavo usually takes a message, or schedules a date for me, so whoever is knocking must be an important person.

I hit send, and swing open the door. My smile drips into a frown when I see who's standing in the doorway.

"Ugh," I grunt and move to slam the door in his face, but his hand beats me to it.

"Nice to see you too," he grins.

"God Louis you are so creepy," I mutter, going into the kitchen but leaving the door open. Whatever he's here for it better be good.

"You say creepy, I say romantic," he states, walking inside and looking around. "Nice place."

"Thanks."

"Did you decorate?" He smirks, referring to my wooden mouse statue. It was a gift from my aunt, who was always a little strange, but in a good way. In no way does the piece go with the rest of the decor in my apartment, but it was just so whimsical and perfect that i had to find a place for it... on top of the fireplace-mantle, directly when you open the door.

"No." I mumble.

He puts the thing back down on the mantle, "Well whoever put it here is brilliant."

Can Louis not understand social cues? GO AWAY. What part of my one-word answers or my not-making-eye-contact translates as amiable? Does he not understand that I don't want him here? Or maybe he does... and he just doesn't care.
