(Hello loves! Sorry for the long wait. Depression, work and life struck again 😅 I apologize if the end of the chapter is a little too fast paced but it's kinda meant to take place in a matter of seconds soooo.... It's kinda janky in my eyes. You'll see what I mean.)

Dreadwing and Jetstorm landed on the flight deck of the Nemesis, the younger seeker staying closer to the older one.

Dreadwing glanced down at the young golden eyed mech. He'd known Slipstream and while the boy did look a great deal like his mother there was also influences of his biological father mixed in. And the blue and gold seeker believed he knew who that mech was now.

"Jetstorm, remain close to me. If anything were to happen to you, your mother would end me."

"I'm almost an adult. I can handle myself, Dreadwing." Jetstorm replied, even though he did follow Dreadwing's instructions.

The large mech ignored the abrasive comment he'd come to expect from Carbine's least welcoming son.

The two quickly made their way through the warship, being on high alert when they felt the ship jolt. Jetstorm almost toppled over but Dreadwing caught him and pulled him out of view as vehicons surged past.

"The Autobots are on the ship!" One exclaimed.

In the brig, Carbine had managed to kill several overly confident guards by taunting them into coming into her range of motion and breaking their necks with one hard kick each. She was madder than a hornet and all would know her wrath.

In the cell adjacent to hers Starscream entered and grabbed Chip.

"No! No! Let go! You're mean! You're mean!" Chip cried struggling against the skinny as a twig seeker. "My mommy is going to kick your butt! Let me go!"

Starscream dragged the boy into the hallway fully intent on using the small grounder as a hostage. "Your mommy is all chained up. She can not help you." Starscream scoffed

Chip's little optics widened. "I might not be big enough to do it yet but My Dad and brothers are gonna get you. No one messes with mom and gets away with it."

"Your Dad? Last time I checked, Carbine was completely against relationships." Starscream commented "she was probably whoring around with Dreadwing and that's how she got knocked up." He ignored the small child's cries that he was being hurt as he continued to drag Chip with him.

He turned a corner and found himself face to face with the barrel of a gun.

"What?" Starscream squawked.

"Release my son." Dreadwing growled

"Daddy!" Chip sobbed "help!"

Someone grabbed Starscream from behind and put a knife to his throat. "If you harm him any further nothing will save you."

Starscream released Chip and the young boy darted over to Dreadwing, grabbing his leg and shaking.

"Jetstorm, can you handle this situation?" Dreadwing asked, his free hand going to Chip's back as he comforted the small mech.

"I can handle this. Go find mom." Jetstorm replied

Dreadwing nodded. "Can you be brave for me?" He asked Chip, the mechling nodded in response. "Help me find your mother."

Chip took Dreadwing's hand and led him away past Starscream towards the brig. The ship shuddered again.

"The Autobots sure are making quite the ruckus." Jetstorm pressed the knife harder against Starscream's neck.

"What do you want?" Starscream demanded.

"Hello, Sire." Jetstorm growled, his voice slipping into a more natural deeper octave.
