As the Sky Knights made their escape from Terra Zartacla, the Shadow Collective were closing in on them. As the Reaper fires upon the three Sky Knight ships, Midoriya establishes a communication line with the Bomber and the Valkyrie.
Midoriya: We need to lose those Cyclonians!
Bakugo(Intercom): NO FUCKING SHIT, DEKU!
Yaoyorozu(Intercom): We might have the numbers on our side, but that Cyclonian ship could easily shoot us out of the sky if we're not careful!
Suddenly, the Eagle takes a direct hit from a missile fired by the Reaper. The blast rocks the Eagle violently.
Midoriya: Iida, take evasive actions!
Iida: On it!
Iida begins performing a series of evasive maneuvers with the Eagle, but the Reaper proves to tricky to lose. Meanwhile on the Bomber, Bakugo could see the Eagle struggling against the Reaper.
Bakugo: God fucking dammit, Deku! Do I have to fucking bail your ass again?! Sparky! Get us closer to that Cyclonian ship?!
Kaminari: I hope you have a plan!
Kaminari then pilots the Bomber towards the Reaper. The Bomber then fires it's guns at the Reaper, forcing it to retreat. As the Reaper backs off the Eagle, Shigaraki sets his eyes on the Valkyrie. Shigaraki then turns to Kurogiri.
Shigaraki: Kurogiri, take us to that Sky Knight ship. Dabi, you and Toga prepare the Reaper's guns. I want that ship turned to dust.
With that, Kurogiri piloted the Reaper towards the Valkyrie. Once the Reaper got close, Dabi and Toga unleashed a devastating volley of blaster fire on the Valkyrie. The resulting attack devastated the Valkyrie. On the bridge of the Valkyrie, Shinso tries to regain control of the ship.
Shinso: We're losing altitude!
Yaoyorozu: Reroute all nonessential power to the engines!
Jiro: That's gonna leave us exposed!
Shinso: We've got no choice, Jiro! If we don't reroute power, then this is gonna be one short flight!
Tokoyami: We could try to escape using our Skimmers.
Shoji: I doubt we'll last long out there.
Yaoyorozu: Shinso, keep the Valkyrie in the air! Try to put some distance on us and that ship!
As the Valkyrie tried to get away from the Reaper, the Emerald Sentinels could see the damage being done to the Valkyrie.
Tsuyu: At this rate, Yaoyorozu and her squadron won't last long.
Ochaco: We have to help them!
Todoroki: Our guns won't do much against that Cyclonian cruiser. Our heavy blasters are still recharging from that last attack.
Midoriya began to devise a plan. He knew that a direct attack on the Reaper would be playing right into Shigaraki's hand. He soon saw a solution in the most unlikely way.
Midoriya: Iida, take us closer. Be prepared to move on my go.
As Iida begins to pilot the Eagle towards the Reaper and the Valkyrie, Midoriya contacts Bakugo.
Midoriya: Kacchan, have your missiles ready to fire on my command. Your target is my ship.
Bakugo(Intercom): You seriously want me to blow your ship to hell? You must be out of your fucking mind, Deku!
Midoriya: Listen to me, Kacchan! This might be our best shot to save our friends! If we don't do this, then Yaoyorozu and her squadron will be wiped out! Just be ready to fire on my mark!
With that, the Eagle continued closing in on the Reaper. Meanwhile on the bridge of the Bomber, Bakugo relays his orders to the rest of the Ground Zeroes much to their shock.
Mina: Are you out of your mind, Bakugo?! You'll kill Midoriya and his squadron!
Bakugo: It's not my fucking idea, Raccoon Eyes! That shitty little Deku seems to think that me firing on his ship is gonna save Ponytail's ass. If I know that little bastard, he's probably got some kind of plan. Now I won't say this again, ready our heavy guns!
Despite their reservations, the Ground Zeroes readied the Bomber's heavy guns. Meanwhile, the Reaper was ready to unleash another attack which would no doubt destroy the Valkyrie. Midoriya watched as the Eagle got closer and closer to the Reaper. Once the Eagle gets close enough, Midoriya contacts Bakugo.
Midoriya: NOW KACCHAN!
Without hesitation, Bakugo gives the orders to fire the Bomber's heavy guns at the Eagle. Iida manages to pilot the Eagle out of the way just in time as the heavy blasts makes contact with the Eagle. The resulting blast nearly cripples the Reaper. On the bridge of the Reaper, Twice runs around trying to fix it.
Twice: Oh we're in for it now! LET'S GET THOSE DAMN SKY KNIGHTS! But the ship is in no condition for such a task! THEN FIX IT, YOU IDIOT!
Dabi: Our guns are busted!
Shigaraki: What about the missile launchers?
Toga: Totally busted!
Kurogiri: The Reaper will not last longer under these conditions, Tomura Shigaraki. I recommend we retreat.
Shigaraki: No.....no.....
Despite not wanting to retreat, Shigaraki knew that fighting the Sky Knights now would be a losing effort. At the end of the day, Shigaraki would not tolerate anything that would get in the way in his revenge against All Might. Not even death.
Shigaraki: Get us out of here, Kurogiri. We'll kill them next time.
With that, Kurogiri began to pilot the Reaper away from the Sky Knights. Before any of the Sky Knights could react, Kurogiri used his Warp powers to warp the ship out of the area. With that, the battle was over. Both the Sky Knights and the Shadow Collective would live to fight another day. But this battle was far from over.
