This chapter is leaning more toward Weiting's group.
As for the girls, if anyone wondering when they will ever get involve in the story, they will be in later part of this arc, and the main important characters for next arc as well (Yes, I started the draft for next arc already lol).
Also thanks for the one who replied to my question last chapter! I'm glad I'm not being ignored lol jk
Hope you guys have a good read!

Everyone woke up to a shattering sound of gunfire. While the newcomers were confused, Jack Reeves was well aware what would happen next since the lighthouse was already nearby, so he rushed everyone to get up hastily.
"Come on, wake up, wake up! We have to get going!"
"What happened, bro?"
"Get away from here first, I will explain later."
Chan Weiting and others already got some idea about what happened. assuming a battle between players must be somewhere near the lighthouse. They ran straight toward the opposite direction from where the battle took place. Jack Reeves warned.
"From now onward is the most dangerous path ever, you guys have to be careful. I can't protect all of you."
"Was it because everyone is heading to the lighthouse?"
Before he could reply, Susan Kunis had already informed them first.
"And because they want to get rid of newcomers to steal skills of course."
"Steal skills? What do you mean?"
"Not telling~ You will know when you get to the lighthouse."
Jack Reeves gave Susan Kunis a warning glare. This was not the only first time he felt she was getting out of hand even though they are supposedly teammates. Susan Kunis gave Jack Reeves a knowingly smile. She knew what was going on in Jack Reeves's mind, she just did not want to be restrained just because they are on the same side.
Looking from the side, Cai Xukun felt amused by these two people. He thought this would give him a chance to negotiate with either one of them, but from his observation from the beginning until now, Susan Kunis seemed to give them more hints than necessary under a guise of a psychopath. Although he doubted himself for thinking too much; however, he could only bet on the only chance that Susan would accept his negotiation plan. Importantly, they were in a desperate situation and most of them could not think straight from panicking. This was the first time the newcomers knew what the battlefield looks like. Chan Weiting, who already experienced the hard time in battle training during his military days, was the calmest among them, he consulted Jack Reeves.
"We will have to find the right moment to sneak in. Jack, can you help us lead the way?"
"Alright, follow me!"
Not only Chan Weiting's group was in a dangerous area, after hearing the loud noise from gunbattle not far away from where they are, Fan Chengcheng got startled and woke up immediately. He looked around searching for Liu Yuxin, who was in a deep sleep nearby. Just when Fan Chengcheng was about to sigh in relief, he heard another gunshot, but this time getting closer to where they were. He forcefully pulled Liu Yuxin awake, alarmed.
"Xin! Liu Yuxin! Wake up!"
"...Hm?...Chengcheng? What's wrong?"
Liu Yuxin, who was still half awake, couldn't figure out the situation yet. She was so tired after the whole day running away from the native, not to mention she did not fall asleep right away just to watch out for any unforeseen circumstances. Just when she closed her eyes for a while from exhaustion, resulting in not hearing the gunshot coming nearby, Fan Chengcheng woke her up.
