Vincent released me and excused us. Somehow, I wish he didn't have to leave.

I stood up and cast Tina an annoyed look.

"Listen Ivy, I'm sorry...." She tried to touch me, but I slapped her hands off.
"You have every right to be angry, but you should know that there's no way I'd hurt you ever."

"Are you really here to apologise, or you came to justify your betrayal?" Typical Tina, she'll always justify her wrong.

"No babe, I'm not justifying anything. Please just listen to me. I got to know the truth on Saturday, after we got home. I questioned Tony on where Tyler was during the quarrel. You know Tony, trying to beat about the bush. I figured something was definitely wrong, and I pressed on till he told me...."

"And you thought I wasn't worth the truth?! I found out about the truth through Penny..." She was bewildered.
".....yes Penny. Your friend, Penny." I wanted to hit the Penny in. Like, let It sink.

"Ain't it embarrassing? Everyone knew who I was fooling my self around with, all in the name of love, except me. No wonder I was all eyes on Saturday."

"I'm sorry, but I really wanted to tell you." She held my hand.
"I guess there's never a right time. I'm sorry Ivy."

I tried to frown, and act all mean, it just didn't happen. Tina was actually being sincere.

"Even Mary Joy still kept something huge like this from me...."

"Tony don't even have the guts to tell her. He's scared, she definitely is going to be very angry at him...."

"I guess I should tell her right?" I saw the scared expression on her face. Her face was screaming "No Ivy, don't do it!"

I smiled and hugged her.

Tina's my person, and I don't think in this world or next, I'll ever be able to stay mad at her.

"I love you little one...." She whispered as she hugged me tight.

"I'm never forgetting you said this...." We both laughed, as we got free from each other's grip.

"Jason really loves you, you know...."

"I don't want to hear it....."

"It's not like you have a choice...." She looked at mom's gravestone.
"I still wonder why Aunt Lily decided to be a flower in the midst of thorns. She'd had just become a tractor or something, and cleared them all up...."

"The world is full of mean people, she couldn't change them, so she decided to love them. Adding beautiful flavor in every way she could. She could have being a terror to Earth's cruel inhabitants, but she chose to show them love...." I looked at Tina whose attention was still on the gravestone.

"I want to be like her, just a stronger and a little harder that these thorns can't choke me up...."

"So you should also learn to forgive Tony, regardless of the fact that he wasn't one hundred percent honest with you....."

"He actually wasn't even up to fifty percent honest with me. The blade of the betrayal cut through my heart, and watched it bleed to death. Good thing I'm strong...."

"I guess Tony saw how attached you were to Jason, and didn't want to ruin your happiness. Besides Jason was the only right person to tell you the truth. You know bro code right?"

"Fuck that bro code.... Tony was fucking gambling with my emotions.... He'd have given me a hint, a heads up. All he said was; Try to use your heart in some matters than your head, okay? Can you imagine that? It makes me wonder if all these was planned..."
