Katniss:
As I walk through Mocking Jay High School, I hear whispers. Again. They just won't stop. I hate being the un-popular nobody. I wish it would all go away. Everything I do is wrong. I walk to my locker. 124B, the only good thing about this locker is that it's a full one and not a half. But this is the hall where the Jocks and Cheerleaders dominate. As I'm walking somebody trips me, I don't fall, just drop my bags. I don't have the courage to do anything to him, but if looks could kill, he'd be six feet under right now.
"Here let me help you with that" I hear somebody say. I don't look up, I just bend down to get my stuff.
"No, I don't need any help" I snap. I'm tired of people saying they'll help, when in reality, it's a setup, it always is. But they help anyway.
"Look, I said-" I'm met with those beautiful big blue eyes.
"Here," he hands my stuff back.
"I'm Peeta Mellark"
"I know" I mutter.
"Okay, we'll see you around Katniss!"
He knows my name and I didn't even tell him.
"Bye Peeta" but by the time I say it, he's already gone.
