Chapter 25

JEFF'S P.O.V.

"I'm not giving up. Not yet..." I said before running towards the fire after putting my arms in front of my face. I jumped through the fire as it blazed past my face, singeing some of the tips of my hair. I caught myself on my feet on the inside of the circle of fire, before raising my head.

"Looks like someone joined the party..." Zalgo said before pushing something sharp up to my neck.

"Your friend over here was getting quite boring anyway," he said before raising me with his arms and pointing me towards Ticci Toby, who was perched against a rock, cover in so much blood I couldn't tell where it was coming from.

I looked away sharply, my eyes starting to tear up again before Zalgo forced me to look his way, as I squeezed my eyes shut, tears now streaming fully down my face.

"What's wrong Jeffy? Does it," Zalgo said before snapping his fingers, somehow changing Toby into another person. "Does it look like someone familiar?"

It did. It was Liu. It was after I had...

It was too much. I couldn't bear to see him like this. How did Zalgo do this? Was it a vision? But it's so real...

"You like what you see?"

I just stared at the body.

"Don't worry Jeffy, you can be just like your friend Ticci here..." Zalgo said before I was thrown by the fire. I caught myself as I felt the heat across my face.

I lunged after Zalgo who easily dodged before clawing me in the back, ripping my sweatshirt as I felt my back sting with pain. I jerked in pain as a headache filled my head. I turned around before another blow hit me, sending me into the middle of the circle.

I opened my eyes as I winced in pain as I felt a big bruise dangerously close to my left eye. I looked over to the right as I saw Toby slightly flicker open his eyes before closing then slowly once again.

I looked up as I saw Zalgo about to claw me again, except this time on the face, as I rolled to the left, dodging his blow as claws screeched across the stone.

"Let's play Jeffy!!" He screamed after me before trying to grab at me. I dodged to the right, making him move his hand through the fire. He didn't even flinch.

He turned around, coming for me, as I could tell his face was just screaming anger. I was stuck in place. I couldn't move, I couldn't even scream.

I was thrown across the ground as I hit the rock besides Toby.

TOBY POV

Jeff... I thought as I felt my eyes getting heavy. Jeff was still on the ground, a bruise covering his face as Zalgo clawed at him.

Then I blanked out.

~5 minutes later~

I jerked awake, feeling a sudden rush of pain as I looked to my left and saw Jeff, thrown beside me as Zalgo came closer, eyes blazing with anger.

"Hey Jeffy!" Zalgo said as Jeff looked at him.

"'Go To Sleep' Jeffery..." Zalgo said before lifting up his hands as they engulfed in flames.

He brought down the fire as me and Jeff clenched our eyes shut, waiting for our death to come.

"You guys need some help?" A familiar voice called as we opened our eyes to see (Y/N), alive, holding a knife, blocking Zalgo's claw from Jeff and I.
