The dance

Once we had arrived in Andres flashy limo, I noticed a lot of security guards were waiting outside.

I was really nervous as my father was going to show up, I took a deep breath and walked inside.

Andre followed behind me and our names were announced. "Welcome mr Castillo we hope you enjoy this evening" the man said welcoming us in.

"Just follow me okay?" Andre whispered into my ear,

"Okay" I replied. There was hundreds of couples here and most of them looked dangerous.

Andre had briefly told me there plan before we had arrived, they were simply going to lure my father here then when he arrives they will pretend that they will kill me if he doesn't return their money.

As the evening went on I just kept following Andre like a lost puppy until he asked me,
"can I have this dance?"

"No, your brother can though" I replied, winking at him then grabbing one of his brothers to dance with me. His nostrils flared with jealousy or maybe even anger but I didn't care, he didn't deserve to dance with me.

"I think he's starting to warm up to you, you know?" His brother said,

"He could never, his heart is pure coldness" I replied after he twirled me around.

"But you know it's not really, he's kind once you know him fully" he said,

I scoffed and replied "kind? He has never shown me kindness"

"That's because he's trying not too, you are his prisoner remember?" He said, chuckling. I wanted to smack him, of course I didn't want to be kidnapped by some mafia boss.

Afterwards I just stayed silent barley making eye contact with anybody. That was until it was time to lure father out by pretending I was about to die.

"If the father of Cordelia herdandes does not step up now, his daughter shall be killed" he shouted, strapping me to a chair and standing on the stage.

"Now this is a party!" Some guy shouted from a distance.

"If you do not show yourself we shall show no mercy!" One of his brothers shouted, I was starting to get nervous at the thought of what they'd do if my father wasn't even here.

Minutes pasted and nobody said a word, people were just mumbling words to each other. Andre pulled out a sharp knife and held it in the air,

"Well then, we shall prepare for her death" he shouted. My palms started to sweat when he got closer. He held the knife to my neck and started right into my eyes, it was like time froze but suddenly gun shots started to fire.

"Get down!" Andre shouted to me, which I then jumped down onto the floor. That was like a 'saved by the bell moment' right? I'm not sure who had fired the gunshots but they had basically saved my life. I started to feel sharp stings in my lower leg, I looked down to see it was pouring with blood. I had been shot.

While me and Andre were laying low I caught his attention then said "I've been shot... again" He just rolled his eyes but they soon widened when he saw all the blood.

He mouthed to me " it'll stop soon just hang on" I just nodded in response but I started to feel dizzy from the pain, and everything went black.

I woke up with a throbbing head ache, and saw faces looking down on me which looked like Andre with his brothers.

"What happened?" I said, squeezing my eyes to see better.

"You got shot, but you seem to always get hit in the best places." Andre said whilst grinning.

"You said that I could go! You said I could leave with my father wh-"

"Your father was the one who shot you" Andre said, slamming his fist on the table.

"Why!" I shouted, confused to why he would shoot me, he would never.

"How the fuck would I know!" He shouted, walking out with his brothers leaving me in my room.

I just lay there for hours, trying to rest my hip that gotten shot.

Later on I timed when the guards walked passed then grabbed my pin from my hair, unlocked the door and sneaked out. I wandered the halls but all I could see was doors and rooms that was until I noticed two large doors which I tried to pull open but they were locked.

"Fuck!" I shouted, then immediately regretting it from realising that I would probably get caught.

I turned around but found Andres face breathing onto my lips, barley touching.
He just stood there staring into my eyes then quickly pulled away,

"What are you doing?" He said, breathing through his nostrils.

"Oh I-" He put his finger up to my lips shushing me, his other hand wrapped around my waist when he whispered,

"You will never leave, angel face" then he pulled away dragging me along with him.
