48 hours later.
Rivers birthday went past quickly, she was thrilled with the puppy. We had a small party and finished off with a nice dinner.

I opened my eyes to the smell of fresh bacon so I then quickly jumped out of bed.

I grabbed a silk robe and tied it around my waist, then ran downstairs.

"Good morning!" River shouted, how can this woman have so much energy at 9am.

"Morning" I replied quietly, walking over to the  sofa.

"Where's Andre?" I asked her, the house was quiet and he wasn't in bed this morning.

"Oh urm... Andre is busy with work, he had to leave early" she replied, I furrowed my brows in confusion.

What work?

"Oh okay." I said in disappointment, I wanted to spend more time with him but I guess that wasn't going to happen.

River walked over and placed the plate full of bacon and eggs onto the table, I quickly ate it all and rushed to get changed.

I threw on a pair of joggers with a black hoodie, walking back downstairs to river.

"Do u want to have a shower darling?" She asked, I nodded and walked to the bathroom.

I stripped my clothes off, then stared at myself in the mirror.

Damn girl.

I never really took notice of myself, but I had an alright figure.

I did have stretch marks, hip dips but I was beautiful. I had a flat stomach, but my hips were exactly perfect. I had thin arms, but in a weird way they suited me.

I turned around and damn, all that working out I used to do has payed off.

I stepped into the shower, and applied shampoo to my hair then quickly massaged it into my skull.

I took a deep sigh as I stepped out after washing myself and shaving, Andre still wasn't home and I was getting bored.

"River!" I yelled, she was somewhere downstairs but I had no idea what she was doing.

"Yes?" She yelled back, I quickly ran over to her jumping up and down like a kid in a candy shop.

"Please can we go baby shopping" I said, smiling from excitement.

"Of course we can love!"

"I'm so excited" I replied, I quickly sorted my hair out to make me look decent.

Once we arrived it was like I was in heaven, everything was so damn cute.

I used to hate kids, even the thought of having them would make me sick.

But things have changed...

"This is so cute" I said, handing her a cute white baby top.

"Isn't it crazy how I have a mini me inside my stomach right now?" She said, she started to tear up.

"I know, I'm so happy for you" I replied, such a sweet woman was standing in front of me with the joy of a new baby on the way.

"I'm going for my first scan tomorrow, will you come?" She asked me, holy shit that's like a big deal.

"You want...me to come?" I said, almost laughing.

"Cordelia, you are such a beautiful woman and you are one of a fucking kind." She said, a large grin spread across my face.
