war zone || part three

After May told Midas to leave, she stayed on the bed then slowly lay down, crying out loud, crying on the top of her lungs, she came to the point where she just couldn't breath from too much crying.

Lying about her feelings in front of the person she love was the worst feeling, and pushing him even away was much worse.

Midas didn't leave the clinic camp, he stood out crossing his arms above his chest, he could hear May's loud sobbing, she was trying her best to keep her voice down and be quiet but it was too hard to do.

Midas just wanted to comfort her in such a time like this, but he knew she would just push him away, May was too stubborn, so was Midas.

He slowly made his way towards her, softly letting out a small cough to let her know that he's here, Midas slowly sat on the edge of the bed and looked at May who was too tired and exhausted from crying.

"Hey.." Midas quietly spoken, he softly touched her smaller hand and found out she was trembling.

"I-I'm so tired... I'm s-so fucking t-tired.." May stutters with her barely audible voice, that made Midas feels so bad in so many ways. 

Thankfully the bed May was laying on was big enough to fit two people in, Midas noticed she didn't push him yet, so he decided to move closer, he slowly moved towards her, pulling her closer by his side.

May breathed heavily, she slowly closed her both eyes and held into Midas's military uniform shirt.

"why are you... even here..?" She whispered, Midas sighed and felt his chest was getting more heavier than ever.

"just sleep for now May, shh.." he whispered back to her, slowly patting her back until she drifted to sleep.

"you're so.. stupid.." she mumbled quietly one last time before drifting to sleep, holding onto his chest, as he wrapped one arm around her to make her feel more safe.

time and hours passes by and it was around 4 am, May was struggling into her sleep and Midas was a light sleeper, he opened his eyes and looked at the girl whining and panting heavily, moving a bit through her sleep.

"m-mhm..-!" May was unconsciously going through a bad dream, a nightmare. And Midas was trying his best to wake her up gently without freaking the poor girl.

"May..! it's me...Midas! I'm here... calm down please." He held her arms and slightly started shaking her.

"AGH-!!" She screamed, opening her both eyes, sweating and breathing heavily, her heart was pounding so hard into her chest, she looked at Midas who was right in front of her.

"M-Midas..?" She asked, May was kinda surprised to see him literally inches apart from her face, but Mia's was really worried about her since she's dropping out the military.

"May please don't push me away.. please.." he begged, his voice sounded really hurt, Midas pulled May into a tight hug, not wanting to let go.

"Midas... I've to go back home.." May was trying her best to push away her emotions and feelings, trying her best not to cry again.

suddenly, one of the country state security cars came and parked close by the clinic camping, May was kinda scared, she gripped into Midas shirt tightly.

one of the security guys came out and saw May and Midas hugging on top of the clinical bed. it was an awkward moment of silent.

"Excuse me, are you soldier May?" The guy asked, they were here to take her back home.
