Chapter Six

Sapnap's POV

"To start off, everything begins at the capital. Nearly everyone in our hide away came from that place" I speak venom in my tone as everyone sits down.

Dream sits listening

It was years ago, the MCYT as they called themselves were a group of people that got together to study magic that was given to us.

They made a massive building and brought in test subjects, everything started off fine, it was fun actually.

The way they choose subjects was either by volunteers or people that had powerful magic.

You would get a letter saying you're invited to test your limits of magic, and if you responded you were picked  up the next day.

When I was first brought up to the building it was pure white marble on a hill surround by a small forest. You could see the town from up on the hill.

They walked us through the building showing us our rooms, the garden and the testing rooms.

Everything seemed fine for a while, all the subjects got along. It's where a lot of us met. I met techno there.

The tests were simple, we just used our magic and they would analyse it and teach us to use it properly without getting hurt.

We were happy, we were just kids

But it all change when that guy took over, he came in one day, and gathered everyone. He started talking about "The End"  we as kids had no idea what was going on but the doctors they changed

Everything changed, we were only allowed in our rooms after he took control. We were tested there, few students that learnt not to fight back were allowed to wonder at times.

When that man came he brought another child with him, he told us that he was special. The boy usually stayed in a bubble in the garden.

I got to met him. He was a normal kid with magic like ours.

Soon when results didn't come up, Tests turned violent and they started hurting us. They were obsessed with the source of magic or "The End" as he called it.

He said it wasn't easy to reach but he already had everything he needed in the building.

He started to test us, some couldn't handle the testing and they died, all of us mourned the loses.

It was one night, the first step was completed. A portal had been opened to a place of fire.

It was then I realised, this wasn't going to end. We would eventually all be killed. It wouldn't end

It wasn't long after that the building was set on fire, a lot of doctors died.

It was me and techno that went around killing people. While everyone escaped. The fire swallowed the building, many died.

Lots of Subjects escaped and went there own ways.

It wasn't until there was word of a hidden place with the leader being a man named Wilbur.

Lots of hiding subjects came out to find the place. Which made it what it is today.

Wilbur sends teams out to collect people he knows were at the MCYT and any and all people that will help.

Now the man chases after us hoping to open the first key to get to The End.

We hide and gather people for the probability of a war between us, cause he won't stop and we need to survive.

"Everyone escaped from that place" I spoke

"That's the general of it" I say sighing into the silence

"What's at the end?" Dream asks

"No one knows" I say

"What about the first portal" he questions

My mind goes towards the memory of it, the burning feelings, the boiling hot degree of heat.

"It's a place no one wants to be in" I say

"Have some time to time dream" George speaks patting his shoulder as I walked away

We all stayed in silence for a long time, George had gone to sleep, Techno went to clean his weapons.

I sat out staying out to the night sky as Dream made his way out and sat next to me.

"This all seems like a lot" Dream comments

"Haha you only know half of it" I chuckle

Dream rests his head onto mine

"I have no memory other than the last 6 years" he speaks out

My eyes widen a bit, no wonder he's so secretive.

"That's... not good dream" i speak softly as he chuckles "it's alright"

"I want to show you something" he says pulling me from sitting up to stand and out into the garden

"What do you want to show me?" I asked him looking up at the smiling mask on his face

He raised his hand and suddenly we were pulled up into the air above the clouds. My eyes widened and i screamed out "DREAM!"

He wheezed at my reaction as we floated in the air. "Can you trust me Sapnap?" He asks me I look towards the masked man

"Yes" I spoke out without hesitation as Dream pulls me into him and we fall,
Not massively fast or slow but a nice slow fall

We float over a river that I ran my hand through as Dream hummed a tube. After a bit I splashed Dream with the water to dream a deep chuckle from him

"Oh you're gonna regret that Snapmap"

I laughed at the name and he splashed me back as well, it went on for a while till we both rested.

We landed on the ground of technos garden as i giggled at something Dream said.

"Come on let's get inside to sleep Dream" I said walking towards the door

"Sapnap" he called
"Yeah?"
"Are we friends?"

I stopped in my tracks turning to him, I just laughed and had a good time. I can't keep pushing people away either

"Yeah we're friends Dream"
I smiled
