Spying on Ben

This idea was thanks to Lotsofunyeah, thank you so much for giving me this idea for a one-shot! I also wanted to say thank you guys for all of the support and sorry I haven't updated recently, I've been busy with school but now I'm in spring break and I'll have way more free time! Also, Amaya isn't a real character it's just one I created for this one shot.

Erica's P.O.V.

I can't believe this. Ben's on a date...with another girl. He told me that their just friends but look at where we are now, me spying on them while they're having a date. I know I told Ben we weren't going to happen but in reality I do want to be with him but I can't....it's for his own safety and that's more important to me, even if it hurts. That however, doesn't stop me from making sure he doesn't date anyone else...it just makes me so mad and makes me want to beat someone up when I see him with another girl. I wonder why he would go on a date with her though, he never seemed to be attracted towards her.

~FLASHBACK~

Ben's P.O.V.

"Ok it's your turn ben!"

I think about it for a second and then give Mike my answer. We were having a truth or dare game before classes because...well because why not.

"Dare."

"Niceeee, ok I dare you to go on a date with Amaya!"

"Wait what?!"

"You heard me."

"But she likes Jawa and I like Erica-"

"Yeah I know but we could use this to make Erica mad and then when you ask her why she's mad, she'll have to admit that she has the hots for you!"

"Mike I don't know about this...I feel bad lying to Erica and she could beat me up!"

"Come on it's a good plan! I'm your best friend just trust me! Plus Amaya thinks it's a good plan, she's literally tired of you guys not dating."

"Fine! Geez it's like everyones involved in my love life."

"Great! So this is the place and time tomorrow."

~Back to the present~ (Btw Erica doesn't know about the dare)

Erica's P.O.V

"So how's everything?"

I turn my attention back to Ben and that Amaya girl, they're having a picnic in the park...I can't help but wish that were me and Ben on a picnic date.

"Everything's good, well I want to talk about Eri-"

*ring ring*

I quickly put my phone on silent, hoping that they didn't hear my phone ring.

"What was that?"

"I don't know....but anyways what were you saying Ben?"

I really want to hear what he's going to say but I have to answer the phone, it's my grandfather so it must be important. I quickly walk half a block away from them and answer the phone.

Ben's P.O.V.

"What was that?"

"I don't know....but anyways what were you saying Ben?"

"Oh right, so I was saying that it's been kinda complicated with Erica. After everything that happened on our last mission, Erica's been avoiding me again."

Amaya rolled her eyes and smiled, putting her hand on mine.

"Your a big dummy Ripley, Erica may be different then other girls but I can still see the way she looks at you when's she thinks no ones looking. You guys are literally made for each other!"

"Do you really think so?"

"Of course, I'm an expert at these sort of things. It's really a no brainer."

I smile and put my other hand on top of her hand that's already on mine, she is literally the best girl best friend I could ever ask for!

"You are the sister I never had! I love you!"

I hug her and she hugs me back.

"Love you too, your like the dorky brother I never had!"

"Why are we getting so cheesy?"

I say starting to laugh, she just hits the back of my head in a sisterly playful way and starts laughing as well.

"So you wanna talk about Jawa now?"

"I literally hate you Ben." She says playfully but her face is bright red.

"Your no fun Amaya!"

That's basically how our afternoon went, me and Amaya talking about our crushes and playing around. It was really fun, I'm glad I have a good friend like her.

Erica's P.O.V

After the call with my grandfather ended I walked back to where Ben and Amaya were...I really wish I hadn't.

"I love you so much!"

Ben leans in and hugs her, she hugs him back.

"Love you too-"

I run from there as fast as I can, I can't stand the sight of him with another girl but him hugging and telling another girl that he loves her...I can't handle that. I stop in front of a restaurant that has a menu sign out front. I kick it with anger and people look at me like I'm crazy but I don't care. How could Ben do this, i thought...I thought he might actually care for me. He said he would wait for me and I...I was starting to believe him but no, he turned out to be just like other boys. I just can't believe him, I really started to trust in him and... love him. A part of me thinks that there's no way ben would do this and that there has to be an explanation but I'm just too angry, jealous, and heart broken to even bother going to him and asking him to explain himself. I felt my eyes start to sting and get watery but quickly dried them with my hands. This just proves that I have to be the ice queen or I'll get hurt over and over again, so that's what I'm going to do....be the ice queen.
