Close your eyes" Y/n told Mina as she hid her drawing behind her back. "Surprise!"

Y/n took at a drawing she made for Mina. It was a picture of the table where they had first officially met at.

"You had asked me to draw you something a while ago so I finally did it!"

"Omg Y/n it looks so good!! I love it thank you" Mina beamed as she took it from Y/n's hands to admire it better.

Mina thought back to the first time she saw Y/n. How she felt butterflies but denied it because it wouldn't make sense to get butterflies after barely meeting someone .

Here was the girl sitting in front of her smiling . She felt content. She had to confess officially but she was scared. What if Y/n didn't react like she wanted ?

What if Y/n doesn't like her back.

Would she still want to be friends ?

Now wasn't the time to overthink. She had to just do it .

After a few more hours if hanging out though...

"NOO IT LOOKS BAD"

Y/n had been begging Mina to let her see the drawing she made. She was so curious because Mina had been hiding it the whole time.

"You can see it once i'm done!" Mina continued working on her drawing. In reality it was just her confessing to Y/n on the drawing but she was too scared to show her.

"It's getting dark aren't you going to get in trouble for being out?"

"Yea but it's okay because it's worth it"

"Okay I'm going to show you now" Mina mumbled.

She was scared but she had to do this. It was now or never.

She slowly turned her picture around. It was a picture of the tree they were currently sitting at but at the bottom she wrote

the moon is beautiful, isn't it?

Y/n looked at the picture with wide eyes. She knew exactly what she meant now. All the times she tried saying she liked her. She never meant it as a friend. She talked about this with Kira a few days earlier.

How Kira had told her boyfriend the same thing but he was so confused she had to explain it. Now Mina was doing it to Y/n. Of course she liked her back but she never expected Mina to actually feel the same.

She wanted to laugh at how dumb she had been this whole time. Mina had been giving her signs all along and she didn't understand them.

Y/n laughed and looked at Mina who was staring at her with such a nervous expression.

"The moon was always beautiful dummy"

"Wait I really—"

"You don't have to say that if you don't really mea—"

Mina stopped mid sentence when she felt Y/n's lips on hers. She leaned into the kiss feeling relieved that Y/n felt the same way.

Mina pulled back laughing "You're the real dummy here you didn't understand what I meant all those other times"

"MINA STOP!"

"It's not my fault I didn't know you felt the same way" She turned away to hide her embarrassed face.

Mina couldn't help but laugh at the poor girl. "It's okay at least we know now"

Y/n and Mina finished up and walked back home. Mina of course got in trouble for getting back to the dorms so late but it was worth it.
