Before you guys come at me, I know it's not even close to Christmas. It just fits in with the current timeline of the story, so that's why I wrote a Christmas special.
~Enjoy~
No POV:
You wake up on Christmas morning to find a thin layer of snow coating the ground outside your bedroom window.
Sitting up, you stretch your arms into the air, yawning. You gaze out the window, a small smile gracing your features. As you watch the snow fall to the ground, you begin to think about your old teammates from Fukurōdani Academy. This would be your first Christmas without them in a long time.
Sighing, you hop out of bed, getting changed into a large hoodie and sweats.
Well, at least I can have a break from Oikawa and these stupid feelings, You think to yourself, styling your hair in the mirror on your closet door.
Once you're finished, you open your bedroom door, a soft smile on your lips.
You walk in the direction of your kitchen, but when you hear two voices coming from the room, you pause.
Recognizing the voices, you sprint towards them.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" You yell, snapping your head through the doorway. You're met with your father and Oikawa eating breakfast together.
Looking at them in disturbance, your jaw drops to the floor.
Oikawa glances at you, grinning. "Oh, good morning Shorty-chan," Oikawa greets.
"DON'T DODGE THE QUESTION!!"
Oikawa goes to say something, but your father speaks instead. "Your friend here is inviting us over to his house for the holiday. Apparently, all of your friends will be there as well. Isn't that nice?" Your dad explains in his airheaded way.
You look at the man in disbelief. "Don't tell me you agreed?"
Your dad tilts his head to the side. "Of course, I agreed."
You facepalm, the color leaving your skin. So much for having a peaceful Christmas. It's not like that was ever an option to begin with anyway.
"idiot," You mumble.
Oikawa stands up, walking over to you with a grin. "Well, come on, Shorty-chan. Let's get going. We've already moved your presents to my house," Oikawa says, grabbing your arm and dragging you along.
You pull back, trying to free your arm. "NO WAY AM I SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH YOU DUMBASSES!!"

"I hate my life," You state, sitting next to Oikawa at his kotatsu table.
Ami raises her hand in the air. "Nice job, soldier," Ami says, high-fiving Oikawa from across the table. The boy grins, smacking the girl's hand.
You prop your head up with your hand, elbow resting on the table. "Why did I agree to this?" You ask to no one in particular.
"No clue. If I were you, I would've made a break for it when I still had the chance," Iwaizumi responds with a sigh. But when Ami turns to smile at him, the light returns to his face.
You watch them interact, wondering if you'll ever be that happy with another human being. Your gaze shifts to Oikawa, watching him converse with Makki. It annoys you how, whenever you're around the brown-haired boy, you feel butterflies in your stomach, and your heart won't stop racing. Does the same thing happen to him? You ask yourself, picking your head up from your hand, and without realizing it, you take hold of his shirt, tugging on it a little bit.
