RIFT- Strain of two worlds

Synopsis

(IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO READ THIS. IT IS SIMPLY A SYNOPSIS FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT THE STORY)

Modern-day earth 2001

The monstrous otherworld invaders would have been a much more scary crisis if the people of earth didn't already have too much to worry about. Society is weakening. Food shortages are floating everywhere from the cause of over-population. A disease is wreaking havoc on humans with the even tiniest weak immune systems. Bodies with blood spewing out their mouths lay in the street. Governments are initiating mass lockdowns, banning any transportation into the country. Others just full outshoot at any who dare to come close regardless of identity and some have been taken over by religious groups turning them into a church state. Even a few have even taken up their past mantle for reining down evil against the world population with dictatorships once again.

Germany, for example, has gone back to its roots (I'm sorry Germans) and has set up a military dictatorship controlled by a dictator. While they can't advance their relentless forces East due to Russia on full lockdown and artillery shelling missiles at anyone coming close to them. Germany has once again set their eyes on Europe and the west continent. But hey, atleast it's not all bad news! Britain along with all the eastern Democratic countries have rebelled and pushed their forces back. Forming a military truce to deal with a greater threat they tolerate each other and fight the Eisen Blut forces (Iron Blood forces).  With the Germans as the poster boys for the iron blood forces, following them is an alliance of Iran, Turkey, China, Libya, Iraq, Kazakhstan, and surprisingly France. The French government had already been in disarray from the local population's constant rebellions that they easily got the rug swept bellow them and suffered a major government takeover by China. Mongolia being just above China was also almost taken over if it wouldn't have been the Russians coming to save the day! And making Mongolia a radioactive wasteland as a border between themselves and China.

Meanwhile corrupt countries like Italy, Spain, Greece, Egypt and both the East and West continent of Africa have turned into a church driven state calling themselves the Pureblood Covenant. They spread their propaganda everywhere they go, "purifying" any smaller city or state they can get their hands on. In their own words they say "Slowly but surely, we will accept all deserving blood into the new world while the rest shall rot". True to their words, they have slowly been absorbing all forces around them and have been gaining more numbers in their crusading forces.

While many desire wealth, power, and control a few have gone into seclusion. America, Japan, and Russia surrounded by enemies have gone into lockdown. Refusing spreading out their forces and attacking each other. While many views this as weak, haughty, or unjust, there is actually a good reason for all three of these superpowers. Russia and America being the mightiest with the most overpowered nukes have decided it's better to not cause mass extinction. Well, that's mostly America's reason but Russia would just rather wait out America for them to meet their doom. By the blood virus or the impending eastern forces. Then after the U.S.A has collapsed, they will expand their forces to control the world. Meanwhile Japan's reason for seclusion is that they don't have enough allies with aligned ideals to fight alongside. They have stayed mostly democratic, seeing its perks, too bad they can't at all send help to European allies or they risk facing the wrath of the crusading forces surrounding them. At this result, they just have initiated a full lockdown on the island and stay neutral 

While the world is in an already state of terrible news, it just got even freakier. In Washington state, a door to another world has opened. A dimensional rip spewing out colorful lights has erupted from Mount Rainier near Seattle. Half of the mountain has been ripped open from its side facing the large city. Before scientists could poke or prod this phenomenon. A hellish mass of monsters has swarmed to flock out the portal. What looks like to be fantasy monsters from a kid's book crawl out. Three to two-story trolls lumber across land requiring heavy guns and explosives to take out. Meanwhile under their feet flood an uncountable number of goblins and orcs. The goblins throw themselves forward as an unlimited meat shield for bullets while eight-foot to twelve-foot orcs ride hellish wolf mounts the size of military cars.
Taken by surprise, Seattle was the first to fall, soon Tacoma, Idaho then Oregon. After the initial surprise, a lot of the non-believers finally saw what they were fighting, and they were able to slow down this menace's progress. But unable to nuke the enemy for them being inside the country and holding millions as slaves, they slowly push back American forces while they dig themselves in fortresses. Making a message that they're here to stay and conquer more than America.
