She kept running thoughtlessly down the endless halls. She took any turn, she just wanted to get away from that monster. She could hear it echoing in her mind, egging her on. Yet all she could do was run. She clutched her head as it began again. She knew it wasn't real, but she still fell for it.

The wooden floor-boards creaked under the weight of suspense as the creature decided the girl's fate. She ran through the endless halls. Left. Right. Right. Right. Left. Stop. It had made its decision. The only sound around was the sound of her quick footsteps and her sharp, shallow breaths. She couldn't figure out why the voice inside her had stopped. She felt a slight shift in the air, and was about to turn around when she felt something pierce her neck. She tried to scream, but found she couldn't make a noise. Her eyes rolled back as her limp body hit the floor. The monster bent down to her and yanked the thin blade out of her paling skin. A thin layer of blood covered the dusty floor. Satisfied, the creature cracked it's elongated fingers then stalked back over to its rightful place, whilst returning it noticed a glint of light. It started towards the light just as something popped. It turned around quickly and faced what would end its existence.

The scythe slid perfectly through the monster's figure as the child swung its weapon at it again, and again. Making sure it was dead. It's lifeless corpse sat on the floor in front of her. She turned around, only to be faced with a mirror. She flinched and turned around quickly, just as the image settled in her mind. Her hair was singed black, and her eyes were un-humanly red. She was wearing what would have been her school uniform, if it had not been torn and burnt. That wasn't even the worst part. Her face had a horrific, bloody smile carved into it, and her hands and legs had multiple scars and cuts on them. A single, bloodied tear fell down her cheek as she remembered how this had all happened.
