"Well, well, if it isn't Kirigakure's missing-nin Momochi Zabuza."

Naruto widened his eyes, 'The Demon of The Mist, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Momochi Zabuza, this is bad...'

"Kakashi of the Sharingan, the copy ninja." Zabuza replied. "No wonder the Demon Brothers were defeated. I'm here for the old man. Give him up and I will let you and your little brats go unharmed."

"I can't let you do that." Kakashi stated seriously. "Protect Tazuna and stay out of this." He ordered his genin, at the same time signaling them to intervene if there was an opening. He then proceeded to raise his headband, revealing a sharingan eye.

Sasuki widened her eyes when she saw Kakashi's Sharingan. She wanted to go and question him but Naruto held her wrist, his look said that there was no time for worrying about that now as their enemy was here. She decided to let it pass, but she was going to find out it later, no matter what.

The three shinobis leaped near Tazuna, Naruto in front of him, Sasuki on the right, Shino on his left.

"Using your ace in the sleeve so soon?" Zabuza mocked. "I'm honored. Let me do the same." and he disappeared in a blur, along with his sword. Kakashi found him immediately, followed by Naruto and Shino who had refined their sensor abilities.

Zabuza stood above the water, left arm lifted above his head, right hand forming an half ram seal. "Hidden Mist Jutsu." A tick veil of mist surrounded them. It was very heavy and made it impossible to see a bloody thing.

"Be alert." Naruto said quietly. "Zabuza is a master of silent killing. You won't hear him coming."

Then Zabuza unleashed his killing intent and it was harsh and cruel and overwhelmed the kids. No matter how stoic, Shino was still very inexperienced and even Sasuki had problems to find her usual confidence under the pressure. Naruto...was still normal.

'Kurama's killing intent is worse than this so much.' He thought while watching around them carefully, without fear.

"There are eight points that cause certain death: the larynx, liver, lungs, spine, carotid artery, collarbone, kidneys and heart. Which one should I choose?" Zabuza's voice rang out. It was impossible to discern from where he was speaking. Saauki was getting too frightened and brought her kunai to her neck to kill herself from the pressure and suffocation.

"Sasuki!" Naruto thundered and grabbed her hand which held the kunai. "Calm down. I won't let anything happen to you." He nudged her with his elbow and gave her a confident grin.

The Uchiha blushed at that, "I-idiot! I'm an Uchiha!" She yelled but he just shrugged, then he turned to Zabuza.

"Hey, no eye-brows!" Naruto said loudly and Zabuza growled with the nickname. "A dog who barks is a dog that doesn't bite, so stop your theatrics and do attack us before I die out of sheer boredom."

Sasuki sweat-dropped while Shino shook his head with his antics.

Kakashi internally laughed. 'Mah, that childish and mischievous personality...Kushina-neesan is surely very proud of him.'

Zabuza laughed. "The blondie has spirit. I like him. I might even keep him... ehehehe." he said, from behind them. "Pity, it's over!"

He appeared behind them, right in the middle of the defensive formation. He swiped his sword at the blond shinobi, but Naruto just smirked and made hand seals. Snake. Dragon. Rabbit. Tiger.

Zabuza widened his eyes as he saw the last hand sign. "Damn!"

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!" Naruto spitted flames from his mouth, heading right toward the missing nin. Zabuza immediately used Substitution for getting away. He then glared at the blonde.
